Not worth the extra money - Hogue Savage 10, 12 & 16 Detachable Box Mag / Hinged Floor Plate Short Action Heavy Barrel Full Bed Block Stock

I thought coughing up the extra $100 would actually make a difference. It only takes slightly more pressure to make the stock touch the barrel. I received almost as much rigidity by pouring resin in the regular Hogue stock. This maybe might be ok for a standard contour barrel, but not for a heavy one. I would not recommend this to anyone.
