I was hoping that this stock would help my gun , but how my gun shoots now is shocking to say the least. It has enhanced the appearance and the accuracy is down right scarey. I did not realize that a stock with a full bed block could do what it's done. My 260 Remington is unbelievably accurate even more so. It's shooting one jagged hole. This purchase has made me realize that if you want to transform your gun from good to great this stock will do it. My gun looks great and feels great can't wait to hunt with it. Great job optics planet for carrying a great product.
Pretty Flimsy
I bought this stock because the previous hogue stock (pillar bedded) was really flimsy. This stock touted it was stiff and is not. The stock will still touch the barrel with very little pressure. The only reason I gave it 3 star is because I was able to mitigate the issue by removing material from the tip of the stock to create more space. I Amy have to fill the barrel channel with epoxy to increase stiffness.

Not Worth the Extra Money
I thought coughing up the extra $100 would actually make a difference. It only takes slightly more pressure to make the stock touch the barrel. I received almost as much rigidity by pouring resin in the regular Hogue stock. This maybe might be ok for a standard contour barrel, but not for a heavy one. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Best Used for:
- throwing in the garbage.

Very Nice Feel to it
Has Very Nice Feel to it, every one may not like that, has a no slip when hot like wood does.
I will say I had bought it with the Idea of putting my New Heavy Varment barreled 300 WSM
but the stock will not fit a heavy barrel as it says. It will with a Med Heavy as I installed
my 6.5 PRC and it worked out very well, its a Medium Heavy Barrel
Low recoil and I do think it improved its accuracy a lot, its a very picky barrel, I shot a five shot ragged hole
with it.
