Checkered G10 grips for Sig P228
The G10 grips make the sig P228 fit even small hands. The surface is exceptional for a secure grip. The grips make the pistol seem like it was made for my hands. I highly recommend them. The higher price is worth it.

The grips have a lot of grip compared to the plastic factory grips. Gun feels secure in your hand. Didn't really seem much thinner than OEM plastic grips but the added grip gives the gun a more secure feel. The fit was okay, the panels don't perfectly align on the spine where the skin between your thumb and finger rides, I expected perfection from a Hogue product like other Hogue products I've used but not on this one. It's minor but it ain't perfect. SO I give them 4 stars. I doubt anyone from Hogue reads this stuff but I'd be glad to send pics. STill much more grip than the factory OEM plastic panels and much thinner than the thick rubber and wood grips that are available for these models.

Great Product, Like Legion
I have two Legions (10mm and 45). These grips fit my P229 E2 perfectly and feel the same as a Legion. These are better than legion grips because they let you use the regular decocker and slide catch rather than having to change those items with Legion grips.

Good Grips
Like the two-tone appearance. Slightly slimmer than OEM grips which works well for me. Installation fit on handgun was perfect. Texturing provides good control.

Good Grips
Fit perfectly. These are just a tad slimmer than OEM grips which works very well or me. The two-tone pattern improves appearance over stock black grips.

Perfect for the Sig M11A1
Nice texture, thinner grip circumference, and aesthetically pleasing for the Sig 229 series. It has a similar but slightly more aggressive texture to the Sig Legion grips. Compared to my P229 Legion these grips are close in size but a feels a hair larger..

Hogue grip for 229
I love the grip it feels great and looks amazing. Was made with great quality perfect fit. I’m a big fan of G10 and turned out to be a great upgrade. My 229 now looks amazing and has a lot more grip. I would order these grips again in the future.

Great upgrade, well worth it
First off, my hats off to Optics Planet and their customer support call center. I ordered the wrong item at first, 2 items that were not fo my model. So I called in and got the right item. The return was smooth and they helped me out in every way. So to the grips, yeah, they are nice. It’s a big upgrade from the aggressive factory grips. And they look sharp, BBQ gun stuff. Improved my accuracy and made the pistol one of my new favorites. I had worried the Sig P229 was not a good purchase, now I’m certain it is.

Life long Hogue User
I’ve been a gun owner for more than 30 years and I’ve never been disappointed with any product that I’ve ever purchased from Hogue. These G10 grips are by far the best I’ve ever used from their long line of handgun grips. The fit on my Sig 229 is perfect, and the checkering is sharp, clean and uniform. The feel in the hand is very positive. I liked them so much, that I ordered a second set for my 226.

Very nice upgrade
These grips are worlds better than the factory grips. Perfect fit easy install. The factory grips were a little too wide for me these fit my smaller hands much better. Some of the higher end sig pistols have grips like these and these grips transform your pistol into an upper tier model.

G-10 stands for great
Excellent grips but a bit pricey, I have them on my P228 with a short trigger great for my small hands. Even larger hands will find them better then stock. I like them better then Sigs E-2 grips, They have a ruff exterior which is sharper feeling then the sandpaper feel of the E-2 grips
