Holosun aro mrs (red) - Holosun ARO MRS Advanced Rifle Optic 1x22mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

This is my third ARO MRS purchase. The mount it comes with is OK but I prefer using the Scalarworks LEAP/01 1.57" mount. Just a quick heads up on if you do use a Scalarworks mount - you may experience continuous spinning when putting the screws in. Just get it to about 10-15 inch pounds and stop - otherwise you run the risk of stripping the screws. Overall, it's a nice optic and I like the doughnut of death. The larger battery tray is a nice upgrade over the 503 series. Not sure why they got rid of the solar fail safe but it still works fine without it - just remember to change the battery once a year. The ARO does sit a bit higher due to the larger battery tray so keep that in mind when trying to pair it with a magnifier. Other than that it's a great budget optic and works as advertised.
