To: Looked great till I used it.....Did you give the company a chance to make it good? I have three of these with one on a SCAR17S in 7.62 x 51. I have never had a problem. My feeling is that you were too quick to give up. Nothing is 100% fool proof or perfect and if you buy enough eotechs, you will probably run into a bad one.
Good quality optic at a great price
I have this optic mounted on my 10.5" AR15 it mounted nicely with no wiggling I tried both mounts and both worked like expected. I havent had a chance to shoot with this optic yet ive only been able to use it with the Mantis training system so i cant say how it handles under recoil but I like the optic so far and look forward to getting range time with it.

Arrived without all functions working
I bought a green dot to replace a sig romeo 5. Unfortunately the optic arrived without the ability the turn off auto adjust dim which really limits the optics functions and intended use. Wasted of time at the range still trying to work on return for a better option. I hoped for a bter quality control process, hopefully the next one works better

Great sight for Ruger PC Carbine
This was the perfect size sight for my Ruger pc carbine with the magpul backpacker stock. The two mounts are solid, the high mount I felt was a little tall but allowed for full sight picture of the irons. The low mount makes a great compact package. I ended up finding a midsize Aimpoint T1 riser that allows for a smaller coworker’s of the irons under the sight. It was $20 on Amazon.

Holosun Elite Green Dot sight
I bought this sight to try a green dot rather than a red dot that I previously used. The red dot has a "tail" off one side of the dot. My eye doctor said the tail is due to my astigmatism. He told me the green color is processed differently by the eye and less likely to have the tail.
I have not experienced the tail with the green dot.
Sight was easy to mount and zeroed quickly.
I am VERY pleased with it. I purchased another one after trying this sight.

Holosun Elite Green Dot optic
This is the second one of these that I've purchased. I really like the compactness of this optic. I also like that it comes with two different sized risers to adjust the height. The solar power panel is a handy option, and it greatly extends battery life. I also like the automatic brightness adjustment feature that adjusts the dot brightness in relation to ambient lighting. The only downside (and very minor) is the rubber lens covers; they slipped off very easily. I solved that problem with a set of Monstrum flip-up plastic lens covers.

Nice Optic
Works great so far. Used only once at an indoor range. Hoping to get outside and check it out at a longer distance soon.

Very good, easy to sight in
I’ve used red dots before and decided to use a green this time, still seeing if I still like it more than a red dot but overall it’s a good optic easy to use and adjust.

Ease of use quick target pick up
I hunt in wooded areas so I needed a better way to target deer and this works well.,I was tired of pulling up and see branches and twigs. I'm putting this green dot on my other guns.I like th adjustable dot size as well
