Mounted easy, sited easy ,was bought easy !!! Great service, prices are great,products are top quality!!

I have a few Holosun optics both red and green and have been satisfied with them. Optics Planet had a great price and fast shipping on the HS403R but when I installed the battery it was difficult to see the dot inside the house. I installed the optic on my AR 9 and took it outside to my little range on my property and I experienced a light red blur. Maybe I got a lemon this time. Like always OP has an awesome return policy so I printed their prepaid shipping label and sent it back. I haven’t given up on Holosun.

Great product for the price. The dot is just a good dot for pointing those targets on my AR 15

Boringly good optic. Does as it should. I appreciate some of the design details such as the recessed turrets which protect them from accidental adjustments. Additionally the turrent caps have an integrated tool and directions for windage are printed below. The adjustments for the brightness settings and windage offer a satisfying tactile click when adjusting so there's no guessing. The only flaw really is the flimsy mount which hosts one recoil lug, but the optic itself is solid and rigid. Unfortunately, not an ideal candidate for night vision but again as a budget offering it delivers for a sub $200 optic. Just expect to eventually change the mount, luckily the 403R uses an aimpoint micro footprint so finding an aftermarket mount is super easy (giessele, ADM, MI, Reptilia...). Overall, I definitely recommend this optic to anyone but expect to change the optic mount if you're an individual that runs your gear pretty hard.
