8 moa ring reticle and astigmatism
I have astigmatism and in my case, any dot appears distorted.
Biggers dots are more distorted than smaller ones.
8 moa ring reticle "cures" my astigmatism.
8 moa ring reticle is very clear and not distorted.
Great MRDS for handguns
After reading the reviews it was an easy decision to grab this Micro Reflex Sight. The fact that it is not a gigantic 6, 7, 8 or 9 MOA dot or triangle means that you can see your target versus obscuring and hoping for the best. It may not have the Solar Backup but I like the clean look of this version. It looks and functions perfectly on my Glock 45. I’m not milling my slide so it’s mounted on a Strike Industries Glock Universal Mount. Too bad it’s currently unavailable. Hopefully they bring this true donut hole reticle back.

Excellent RMR alternative
this is an excellent alternative to the rmr and half the price. I went with the 8 moa circle version and it very easy to get quick sight acquisition. It works perfect with suppressor height sights in 1/3 cowittness. Would definitely buy again and opticsplanet always has the best prices.

quick acquisition on target
i have several Holosun products and do like the quality and durability i have found with their products. My reason for the purchase of 407CO was the 8 MOA circle, thinking it would help me with quick acquisition on targets. i shoot USPSA and IDPA and so far i am pleased. i used a smaller red dot before which was much smaller and harder to find. so far pleased and look forward to shoot it more

Great red dot but it is not a multiple reticle optic like ad says.
This sight the 407CO has a 8 moa circle dot only. The ad states it is a multiple reticle option but this is not the case. I confirmed it with Holosun after I received the sight and could only get the one reticle to appear. That said it is a very nice sight. I am using it as a back up sight on a AR pistol and it works quite well for that application. Plenty bright for daytime use and the shake awake tech works to save battery life. I own several Holosun sights now and have never had a single problem with any of them. Just beware of the reticle...it is not a multiple reticle sight. 8 MOA circle only.
