Not the best for carbon removal
I ordered both this Hoppe's and the Birchwood Casey brand of the carbon and lead remover as both were recommended in YouTube videos. The Hoppe's hardly removed and of the carbon buildup on the cylinders of my revolver. The Birchwood Casey, however, mase short work of it. I think much of the issue...

Be sure to squeeze the air out of the bag and zip it tight!
It worked well the first time but I think I left too much air in the bag and it dried out. My fault. Good product.

Hoppe's Quick Clean Rust and Lead Remover Cleaning Cloth
This rust remover works very well. Had some rust on the barrel of an old rifle and this cleaning cloth removed most of the rust.
