Testfire in 1911s and Star PD

I wanted a lighter bullet weight than 230 gr Ball. I have great results with Hornady ammunition over the years. In particular I wanted for a Springfield Armory V10 and a Star PD both with shorter barrels than a std 1911. The shooting range opens after Memorial Day Weekend here at 8000 ft in the Colorado Rockies

Hornady .45 ACP

It's HORANDY so quality is not a problem. But there's a problem that I didn't foresee,this ammo doesn't have a round nose it is semi flat.My .45 pistol doesn't want to feed it I don't know if this is a common problem with other .45 pistols or not.I'm switching to a ramped barrel which I don't think is a drop in we will see. Mike.
