Lock-N-Load bullet Comparator. (Complete Kit)
This tool attached to my caliper very easily. Makes any caliper a more precise measuring tool. It can be used with multiple calibers. I'm new to relaoding, and Hornady makes it easy to reload simply, and safely.

The Bullet Comparator measures rounds from the ogive to provide consistent, precise measurements. You can also use it to check uniformity of bullets from base to ogive. The Bullet Comparator easily attaches to the blade of your caliper and uses interchangeable inserts.

Saved my gun
I used this on my new 6arc barrel and found the freebore to be half what it should have been. The factory ammo was crammed into the lands. This would have drove pressures up to a potentially dangerous level.

Well made product that worked perfectly.
Each piece was machined perfectly and make accurate measurement easy and repeatable. The etching on each piece was clear and easy to read. I wish the documentation listed the calibers each insert measured, but you can get that information from the Hornady website.

Must for good reloading
If you are serious about reloading you need one of those. That's the only way you can be precise to your barrel and bullet seating and get the best accuracy out of your rifle. I really don't see any great advantage of reloading for accuracy without one those.

Serves its purpose
They do what they are supposed to do. Basic and easy to use. Makes it a lot easier to seat the next group of reloads to the same seating depth instead of using oal which is never constant due to the bullet tips varying.

Simple and adjusts for different bullet profiles (ogive variations) for accurizing bullet jump. Couldn't be easier to use.

A must have.
Hornady did a great job here and the complete kit is what you need if you don't shoot one of those common calibers. Bullets can come in different lengths out of the same batch when your talking thousands of a inch so this is a must have tool to measure from the o-give of the bullet to get accurate readings.
