Hornady Powder Drop and Hardware
Recently started reloading using Hornady Lock N Load AP Press. Do pistol and rifle. To change between pistol and rifle case sizes requires a change of powder dispensing rotor and measuring meter. Buying a second powder unit allows a quicker changeover.
From the picture shown on both the Hornady and Optics websites one would gather that the red drum and rotor body are part of the package and that the only additional item needed is the lower mounting assembly which is shown separately on both websites.

very misleading
This does not come with powder body as pictured and i called Hornaday and they will NOT sell you the powder body seperatly,so if your thinking you can purchase this and put the powder measure together yourself you cant do that because i called Hornaday and they will NOT sell you the Powder Body,Powder tube,etc,seperatly..so i believe the add is very deceiving JMHO !

it works for well i have others i been waiting a month and a half so I cancelled it.
Been waiting a month and a half so i canceled it. I called hornady and got one faster. I will never order from these people again. They should have told me a back order the ship date is 2 and a half weeks passed do

Hornady Quality
As with everything Hornady, this part if well built and works good, but as with everything hornady it seems like it costs more than it should. I guess I shouldn't knock it too much, I spent some time looking for powder options for progressive rifle presses, and this and rcbs were the best I could find...

Works with other powder drops also
I have used this linkage setup with a hornady powder drop for quite a while. I have found that the hornady powder drop does a great job with most powders but a few that I like to use run MUCH better in my RCBS uniflow I used this setup with that powder drop and I can now swap to which ever powder drop works better with that powder. I will be ordering another so I can leave both units setup to go. Kinda pricey but its well worth it if your using a progressive press (not useful at all on a single stage) then you cant hardly get by without one.

Hornady Case Activated Powder Drop
Used the Hornady Case Activated Powder Drop on RCBS 4 x 4 press with RCBS Powder measure and everything worked great loading 308.
