Best tool i've found for ogive to base measuring - Hornady Straight Model Lock-N-Load Over All Length Gauge C1000

This is a super easy way to measure ogive to base for any given cartridge/bullet combination in your rifle. Give you a precise starting place to work up "distance off the lands" loads in your rifle. I tried the Sinclair tool first, but found it compounds error because you involve the overall length in your calculation. Bullets are not precisely the same in respect to both ogive and bullet overall length. It's best just to deal with one factor and this Hornady tool does just that. Ogive to base.
