Better than a Finger
I first saw this on a few gun influencer post and thought this is pretty cool. Well it is. If you've used biometric fingerprint safes before, you know they can be finicky especially if your finger is wet, greasy Etc. Plus you also sometimes have to worry are you at the right angle or not. With this safe, all you have to do is hold your hand up in front of the scanner and bingo it opens. Doesn't matter what angle your hand is at, doesn't care if it's wet, greasy etc. It just works. Setup is easy. It might seem a little pricey but for its ability to work the way it does I think it's worth it. Hopefully it does come down in the future. I would like to get another one.
Would recommend: Yes
Although a little pricy, the ease of setup and features are a winner
Safe received a little earlier than expected. Setup instructions are clear, and setup itself takes about 10 minutes, including the time it took to remember where I put my 9 volt batteries ;-) Safe gives audio prompts how to set up, with palm scan set up a breeze. Safe works as expected, and as described. Would purchase another without hesitation.
Pros:
- Super fast opening with palm which is the whole point
Cons:
- Pricy for a pistol safe
Best Used for:
- Bedroom firearm storage
Would recommend: Yes
