it works well
as a long time veteran ear muff hearing protector user, i was always sceptical of using ear plugs, that they'd not protect as well nor be as comfortable as the ear muff style. the bulk of ear muffs got in the way of using one of my rifles as i couldn't lean onto the stock far enough to properly see...

Trap shooter
I tried these ear protectors instead of standard ear muffs style protectors. I found the noise reduction was acceptable with shotgun shooting and on par with the average ear muff style protector. The only annoying problem I had was that plastic bow piece that connects the two ear pieces tends to r...

garbage product
This may protect your hearing for a 22 Rifle...but it’s still going to be uncomfortable and the band will rub against your neck or clothing, causing you to hear the vibration.
Total piece of junk. Don’t waste your money.

Good, but one major negative
I bought these so I can wear my Stetson, cuz I'm cool like that. They work great. Vastly superior to the roll up foam hp. The only bad thing is when you wear a coat the band rubs the collar and it sounds like you're listening to a hacksaw through a stethoscope. Its really loud. Good for the range, not so great for the trail.

fine product
these protector ear plugs work well and are worth the cost. they do not interfere when shooting a rifle or shotgun as some protection devices do. they are light and comfortable to wear, and block out harsh sounds as intended. these same devices protected my hearing for years when I worked at a jet helicopter company.I highly recommend them for shooting.
Pros:
- light, comfortable, and effective
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Hearing Protection

Good product but will not least forever
I bought this product after check some reviews and I really enjoyed it after some use specially shooting my rifles. I recommend this product, but keep in mind that it will not least forever. One of my pods felt apart with something like 3 months of use.

Light weight does the job
Went to a range that has no insulation for noise, everyone that I was with was complaining that it was to loud..
That was everyone but my self. They were using the ear muffs that the range provides (no good)
The ear plugs that purchased worked great, fit snugged in ear. Happy with my purchase....

Howard Leight Quiet Band Ear Plugs Are Convenient
Depending on use these may not offer the ultimate in hearing protection, but for most uses they are wonderful. Lawn mowing, power tools, shooting sports, are but a few applications, these ear plugs can be used for. The optimal word for me in describing these is "convenient". They stay around your neck until ready for use and then inserting them requires minimal insertion effort for a snug fit. The only negative is that through normal movement, one may need to re-seat them from time to time. One positive is if someone approaches you for conversation, removal and reinsertion are easy and they can lay around your neck.
If you need 31+ dB protection, these obviously won't do, but I would feel comfortable using these while shooting most handgun and rifle calibers. I would not recommend them for AR-15's, shotguns, etc. other than for very brief periods. That said, I use them for everything else.

Hearing Protection
To be honest, I purchased the Howard Leight Quiet Band hearing protection ear plugs out of convenience when shooting one of my .22's. I still use a regular headset when shooting anything larger than a .22. They fill the bill nicely on the small caliber guns. comfortable and well made. Very easy to use.

nice compromise between ear plugs and ear muffs
Low profile and reduces noise very well. Takes a little getting used to but works great after breaking in. The band would create noise when coming in contact with the back of my neck but that subsided after a couple range sessions and fiddling with it.

great product
Nice and light easy to slip on and off.I actually use these for work and they provide excellent hearing protection.1 small point if ring gets in contact with anything strong feedback is heard but like I said I'm using these at work.otherwise a very good product at a great price.

Handy little hearing protection
These banded ear plugs work well, are easy to use, easy to store and keep up with. Im using these for shooting and lawn work. They fit well and don't take up much room in my EDC and range bag. The bright color makes them easy to spot if I drop them.the dont make my head sweat in hot weather.
