Must have if you're locked into the pin and weld huxwrx system that comes on Geissele uppers
Only got this because the .812 556 Geissele upper I recently got from here had the huxwrx qd flash hider on it pinned and welded. Looks like I'm locked into the huxwrx mounting system now as this was my first purchase since getting my first suppressors. Hopefully it holds up. Be warned though, if you don't used a tool to really tighten this thing down, it will start to come loose every 50-100 rounds. Both my brother and I are above average size and strength, especially hand/grip strength, and we could not get this thing to stay mounted tightly during a ~500 round range day. Had to retighten it several times during the range trip last weekend. When I got home I added a wrench to the range bag and snugged this thing down slightly tighter than I can get with my hand. We'll see how it performs the next time out.

- Maybe pro rock climbers can snug this down enough by hand to prevent it from coming loose every hundred rounds or so

Excellent option for using HUB mounted devices
I was hesitant to pin and weld a HUXWRX muzzle device due to lack of compatibility with HUB mounted suppressors. This adapter is perfect to widen the options and is extremely well build. It is very easy to quickly attach and detach with this adapter. Highly recommended, expect the pricing is on higher side. I could have bought entire new barrel for the price.

HUX for the WIN
I am a huge fan of HUXWRX QD system. Solid, intuitive, and now extremely versatile. This device has opened up a whole realm of suppressor options.

Shame on Huxwrx
The device itself is fine. What is not fine is how I have spent a little over $300 for this and a one muzzle device and Huxwrx could not include the thin flat wrenches to tighten this stuff up. Literally a flat piece of steel bar that costs them less than $2 to make. And even better, these wrenches are in stock pretty much nowhere. So good luck tightening this up to spec…. Don’t for a second think you will just use some adjustable wrenches and outsmart this issue, you won’t!
