This worked perfectly with bore alignment… fit nice a snug on multiple bores, all lined up nicely… great piece of mind to ensure bore and suppressor alignment to avoid a costly baffle strike… the rod arrived in a nicely packed shipping box with zero damage

Fast shipping but haven’t been able to test yet as I’m waiting on my can to arrive. Looking forward to using but trust their quality. Very solid and not easily bent.

Visibility superior to metal rods
The irony of using rods to verify concentricity is that you have to shine a light down the bore to do it properly. However, doing so creates odd shadows and reflections back in your face, particularly with metal rods. So you have to keep looking at it from different angles or your eyes start playing tricks on you.
The brilliance of the Huxwrx rod is that it is black carbon fiber. So, it doesn’t reflect light back in your eyes like metal does. And the green outline at the tip of the Huxwrx rod makes verification of concentricity much, much easier because of the high contrast and much reduced reflection of light. When checking alignment, you are trying to check very narrow spaces with your eyes. So anything that can help reduce glare and increase contrast is especially welcome.
Strongly recommend this product over polished metal rods.

Loose in the Bore
This rod appears to be straight, the the diameter is too small for a brand new .308 bore. It's so loose it can't even hold its place which makes it impossible to judge alignment. There should be at least a little bit of friction so it can hold itself in the barrel. What good is it if you can't get it to hold position while extending into the suppressor so you can judge the alignment? And you can't judge horizontally either, since there's enough slop that the tip can drop about 1/16th of an inch. Nothing would appear to be in alignment ever.

Gets the job done!
I bought the 7.62 version so I knew HUXWRX was a good brand. The 5.56 version is just as effective. Both are light weight and ensure a muzzle break or suppressor aligns with the barrel. And the price is right.

Fits like a glove
Arrive from Optics Planet nicely packaged. Opened it up and 100% straight with zero issues. This was half the price of other rods and fit through the suppressor and barrel nicely… giving me confidence in barrel/bore alignment with multiple rifles and suppressors… better to have this then to get a baffle strike and paying another ridiculous tax stamp. Worth every penny and piece of mind…

Perfect fit for my 308 ARs

Good product
It fits my .308 and .300 blk perfectly. I mean it couldn’t fit any better. Seems durable, feels like it can flex a little (if you were to happen to abuse it on accident) and return straight. I’d recommend
