Wild 2 review
I purchased the Inforce Wild2 at its initial release because I enjoyed using their rifle lights. The light is bright, the controls are easy to use, and the mounting system works well. I carried it for duty and start led to notice the issue with battery life. I went through 2 sets of batteries in 2 m...

Most Helpful Negative Review
Great aesthetic design, terrible customer service/warranty claims.
I was an early adopter of this light. Purchased as soon as it was available.
The battery drain issue that prompted a recall by inforce wasn’t the only problem. The light would not reliably enter lock-out mode and when it did, it would not unlock unless I removed the batteries to re-set.

better than surefire
I swapped out all my surefires for inforce wild 2's, I like the all metal feel and adds a little more weight to help keep the muzzle down
Pros:
- all metal
- adds more weight
- cooler looking
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- any situation
Would recommend: Yes
Sleek paddle Light
Inforce has come a long way, now with a medal housing and competitive 1000 Lumens at a price better than most. Its now my go to light source for my weapons.
Pros:
- 1000 Lumens
- Medal Housing
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Range day
- Conceal Carry
Would recommend: Yes
overcompensated
And what I mean by that is the flashlight that I bought from opticsplanet was so unbelievably over engineered.I mean W.O.W. what a powerful flashlight The strobe on Min. is enough to blind you. It is so bright

so far so good
Feels well built. No issues so far. Have it on a duty gun and work overnight.
Pros:
- well built
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- duty
Would recommend: Yes
Good Light, controls a little Funky
Positives- well build, looks good, solid feeling, no wiggle, over all good
Negatives- the control to use monetary only, if problematic because the push is sideways not up, down, or in. Sideways means you have to change your grip on the gun.

Really superb light
Extremely powerful light probably stronger than 1000 very nice hotspot and some splash. Slightly shorter and I believe skinnier than surefire but plain white LED. It's very sturdy seems to have an easy minimal design. Seal seems to be strong. So far no issues whatsoever with mine. I suggest using an older quarter to tighten the bolt but I tend to have to go through my quarter jar finding the right one it's very well machine lol. I've had 0 issues so far but this did just come out this year and plenty of other big name manufacturers have had their own hiccups.
Pros:
- Cheap seems reliable nice impact guard very bright
Cons:
- The activation has a slight delay
Best Used for:
- Easily an EDC piece
Would recommend: Yes
Good Light - not great.
I ordered this light to actually try something different. I am a weapon light guy. I have Streamlights, Nightsticks and Surefires. I even have one O-light, just had to test it out but this review isn't about that.
While I liked the light brightness it just felt cheap on the Wild2. It is light but to me too light. The paddles while large and aluminum just seemed to big, yeah easy to manipulate but to me more area to get beat on and break. Hard to explain about the switches. When I first opened the box and mounted it I loved how big they were, but literally after about 15 min they just felt wrong... hard to explain but felt ebayish...
The throw was decent while the spill was average and not too wide, which to me is good for a handgun mounted light.
I know a lot of people love these but it just wasn't for me... Give me my streamlights any day.

Battery cap comes undone
I utilized this on my Sig X5 Legion. Super easy to work how ever the the button to release the battery cap is on the side of the light that attaches to the rail. During firing of the weapon I'm guessing the button is some how depressing and releases the battery cap. It was a range day so I tried to tighten the light as much as I could and it still would come off. I have a friend who utilizes this light on his Glock and has no issues with it. It could just not be compatible with the Sig.
Pros:
- User Friendly Controls
Cons:
- battery cap comes off during cycling

Great service!!
Recently ordered a wild2 and my package went missing the people at optics planet helped me out and got my replacement out to me as soon as possible. Great light far reaching and blinding. Battery life is poor but understandable because of the lumen strength highly suggest getting .

Great Concept with Poor Execution
We have two of the Wild 2's to test. Great looking lights that are very bright, but both have developed problems with the switch that will either keep them from turning on, or keep them from turning off. If it were one light I would say it may be an isolated issue, but 2 for 2 is not looking good. If Inforce can fix this issue they will have a great product.
