Great performer, attainable price point
I run Surefire Scouts on most of my night time hog guns, but the profile of this light, coupled with the performance, along with the price point, has me changing my mind.
When compared head to head with the competition, both in the white light spectrum, and in the white light setting, this little l...

Not a fan of the button
At first, I really liked this light. It's light weight, great color match with my FDE kit, plenty bright enough, has dual lock-outs, and dual white/IR mode is easy to use.
However, the problem I have is the button. You have to hold it solid for a half second or longer for it to function in momentar...

Great rifle light. Outstanding price.
Tough, will take a hard hit or repeated banging around. 450 lumens are bright enough, unless you want to blind people, then get the 900 or 1100. *grins*
Easy white light or IR flip switch. Hold down a bit and release for full on/off control or push and release button quickly and it stays on.
Bought two with IR and loved them, so I got 2 more with white light only. That was 5 yrs ago and no problems with them.

Lightweight & Affordable!
Great white light and IR light, it was a bit bigger than expected. Material feels good and stiff, got this for a helmet light. It’s affordable than the $400 surefire light. I will come back to update this if I run into problems with the light but it right now it’s going good.
Pros:
- Lightweight & affordable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Helmet mounted for pvs14 pairing

Great for MPX at 12 o'clock
This works well in the 12 oclock position on an MPX. MPX is famously hard to shop for light wise but after trying many different solutions (Modlite, surefire etc) this fits the bill. Sometimes the "budget" solution is the better way to go.

Good light, good price.
I have Inforce lights on few different platforms.I like the slim profile. Bright enough and still small enough to mount on top and not be in the way of most optics. i have no regrets. Watch for knock offs online though. Optics planet is legit.

Its flickering after only a year
Roughly only a year later with little use, it started flickering. I changed the battery and same thing. I've used the rifle many times with it hooked up, but I rarely use the light. This is pretty disappointing considering the short time I've had it and the lack of use in terms of using the light. I guess now I have to spend twice as much for a different light.
Pros:
- None - it is not usable
Cons:
- Flickering, failure

Inforce Ir light
Awesome IR light that throws enough IR light for night ops and looks great. Great option for helmet or weapon light. The dark earth color looks great against od green and black. The light functionality is superb and is good enough as surefire and stream light options. The thumb option is great and the throw lever to keep accidental light throw off is a good option especially for night missions. The 400 lumens doesn’t flood out nor cast too much light but enough.
Best Used for:
- Night ops

IR is Very Dim
This is a very well made product. The white light is bright and useful. The IR light is very dim and nearly useless. I bought this specifically for use with NVGs, but the IR light on my goggles is much brighter. I surprised that it was on when I tested it.
Pros:
- well made
Cons:
- Nearly useless for IR use
Would recommend: No

Perfect paring to helmet and PVS14
Mounted this to my bump helmet for hog hunting. Does a fantastic job with my pvs14. IR beam is good and lets me see the hogs that are in deep shadows. And the white light allows me to examine the body with out blinding me.
Pros:
- Lightweight
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Helmet mounted for pvs14 pairing

inforce wml gen2
This light is amazing so far. Controls are simple to learn. Extremely bright for 400 lumens. Doesn’t add much weight to weapon. YouTube videos do not do it justice! I will never own another gun without buying a light for it. Extremely satisfied with my purchase

Great bargain, plenty of light, minimal footprint, dependable
Four stars because it functions well, is extremely simple, requires a small footprint and is competitively priced with much more expensive yet similarly capable options.
Dinged a star because my model can be wiggled on my 1913 rail section forward and back just a tad, which is a smidgeon annoying but not a show stopper.
This is a standard issue light for my unit as an elective option over the Elite Tactical light which is included in our SOPMOD MK18 URG kits. While the Elite is fine, it is large, heavier, requires a larger footprint on a 10.3” upper and is susceptible to lens impact (these break all the time!).
The Inforce is 1/3 the price, bolts on/off a 1913 section in seconds, takes a beating, provides ample light for CQC or short distance rural ops and is extremely easy to active with a 45 degree offset mount via the light pressure press and at the end. I prefer the angled press pad over a surefire style push button which is a 90 degree face - the angle approach is much more ergonomic for rail section grips.
Additionally, this has a block bar to swipe over to prevent light ND’s which is simple to find and redeploy.
When I first was issued this light I was skeptical that it was cheap and inferior but I assure you the polymer construction is not a compromise but a weight saver and just as durable. This has seen duty on a suppressed MK18, lantac dragon brake setup parallel to the light for 1000 rounds, as well as a standard bird cage parallel to the light and no shoc...
