Best indoor light
For indoor use, this is the best light for a carbine or shotgun. The light has a very wide spill so you can see every corner of the room. It's also bright enough at 200 lumens but not too bright that you distract yourself. It's extremely easy to mount and it is so lightweight that you won't even notice that it's there.
Pros: Light weight, very bright
Cons: Plastic exterior
Just what I needed.
I have the single-mode, momentary on, version. It's exactly what I needed without any of the complicated fancy strobes and other functions. Press the pad for light and release for dark. I have it mounted to a Magpul MOE forend on an 870 and the placement is prefect. Would highly recommend this setup on a shotgun.

Good, affordable weapon light
You can spend hundreds of dollars for a WML and I have in the past, but this is the one I've settled on. It's my second InForce...the first one had all the different modes; however, now I'm sold on the idea that if a light is not momentary-on, it's not a weapon-mounted light...it's a tactical flashlight. Even if you can afford the most expensive WML out there, this is probably the best tool for the job. The light is good for what you'd likely need it for and the bright center of light helps with aiming in a pinch. As for potential improvements, I really like the flip-up bar that protects against accidental light discharges, but if you flip it all the way up, you can still activate the light by pressing just behind it. Also, the mounting scr3w (yes, their editorial standard won't let you use the word scr3w) is hard to tighten and untighten since it is small and there's no clearance around it (a scr3wdriver slot would have been nice). However, these are very minor...the odds of accidentally discharging light with the bar up is almost nil and as for the scr3w, even totally loose the spring will hold the light onto the rail. Great product.

Seemingly the best not-expensive option for a home defense rifle
I'd rather have a Surefire but am not willing to pay for one on every rifle. But I don't want something cheap and obviously inferior.
The only concern I had after doing some research was an alarming number of reports about the battery running down on its own, often in just a week or two. I have not had any issues. The light is plenty bright for home defense. I wouldn't want it on a 'general purpose' rifle or one used outdoors...even just in my backyard on a 1/4 acre lot, shining it into a somewhat densely vegetated and shadowed corner failed to light the area up as well as something fancier like my Surefire X300 Ultra. But I paid nearly twice as much for it, and it is a little bigger and heavier.
For my home defense rile this light is just right.

120 lumens version is just right for the home
Awesome light for the price, mounts to picatinny rail quickly and easy to remove. Lightweight, great momentary push button controls. Using on 870 shotgun but easily transferable to carbine. 120 lumens is bright enough for home use, any brighter and night vision is hard to maintain.
It does blink slightly when racking the 870 hard, but not during normal use.
Pros: Lightweight, momentary switch is easy to use
Cons: Forearm mounted light blinks when racking 870 hard.

Inforce WML w/ Momentary Only
Great light for shooters with an overhand support grip. Thumb fits flush with the lights button. Momentary only is crucial for tactical situations. Beam is wide and bright enough for close outdoor use. Its just bright enough to give you full lighting without blinding your eyes adjusted nightvision.
Pros: quality, fitment, ergonomics, wide splash beam
Cons: poor attachment

InForce WML
Overall, this is a great light. Wa a little shocked to see that the housing is some sort of polymer/glass reinforced construction. I read a couple of reviews that said the housing was an aluminum alloy...... definitely not.
Pros: Easy to install and use. Price can't be beat.
Cons: On shorter carbine rails, you'll need a cantilever mount as the push button is located approx. 2" behind the light head (where the clamp is).

Excellent picatinny mounted light for the price
Purchased this to mount on an MOE forend for my 870 shotgun. Everything fits beautifully and the light only weighs 3 ounces. Can't really feel any additional weight to the front of the gun, which is good.
Reliability is yet to be proven, but so far it is a quality piece of equipment.
Pros: Simple to operate, lightweight, integrated pica tinny mount
Cons: None
