Awesomeness
Purchased recently and installed on a 80% polymer lower. Thus far has functioned flawlessly, the fit and finish are spot on! The magazines fit and finish are great as well. There are some size issues with the length of different manufactured 2.5" shells. As long as the shells are 2.5" or just less , they have fed just fine in mine. The recoil of the 410 and the gas operation of the black rifle platform make it suitable and a joy for small framed shooters ! I would recommend it! So get one, and get out and smell some cordite.
Pros:
- Fit, Finish, Functionality
Cons:
- The quad rail forearm a little big for small hands

don't use certain ammo
so the chamber length is 3 inches, but you have to single load them in as the magazine can only hold 2.5 inch rounds. the thing is not all 410 2.5 inch rounds are perfect. word of the wise, don't put in Winchester super x ammo into the magazine they're too long by only about .200 of an inch. Remington game loads should fit just fine as they are a little shorter than 2.5 by about .240 of an inch so unless you're getting failure to extracts or failure to fires. it isn't the upper.its the magazine. simply make sure you've got the right ammo before slapping a 1 star on something that does deserve more. so if you just pull some 410 shells out of your judge make sure they're not 3 inch shells or longer than 2.5 inches. cuz that extra .200 of an inch makes a difference in feeding from the mag.
good product. never fails as long as you feed it the right food.

Can’t use till I find a new mag
So picked this upper up excited to use it I have lots of 410 judge ammo and ready to shoot. But can’t load shot or slug shells in mag. Too narrow and can’t get anyone to get me new mag or explain why normal shot shells and judge shells don’t fit.

After getting more field time with this product… I must say… I am truly impressed with the IFC .410 ARU AR-15 UPPER as well as the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction!! In my first review, I was very honest and provided you with every Pro and Con that I could uncover blasting through the first 150 rounds using various types/weights of ammunition. (Well, the only real Con that stood out, IFC resolved after I sent a simple email to the company.) In my origional review, I like a couple other early adopters, had mentioned some type of interference with the hammer or trigger pack. After recieving my email, IFC was quick to resolve the issue by sending out a replacement part that was only defective on a few very early models. Apparently the wedge was milled at the wrong angle but can easily be rectified with a small file.) Now, my upper has no interference and continues to run without issue. I ran through another 150 rounds of ammo ranging from Remington, Estate, and Monarch and had ZERO stoppages/jams!!! This thing runs like a top!! It’s also a pretty accurate slug gun. *(Just remember that not all 2.5” shells are the same length and that can impact reliability.) What I do when I’m at the store and want to try a new load, is compare the length to 2.5” Remington shells. They are almos...
