Works Great
Never used a bore guide before. I got a new rifle and decided to break in the barrel correctly. Read many reviews and decided on the Dewey one. Liked that it was metal rather then plastic and that it was caliber specific. It's easy to use and understand even for someone who has never used one before. Came with extra "O" rings and a simple tool to help install them. ( When it is slipped into the rifle chamber the O rings make the seal so that solvents don't run down to the trigger area). So far I can't find even one flaw with this tool. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to everyon...

Unfortunately, only works for one of the three guns I have
Two savage Mark ii 22 rifles and a CZ it does work for the CZ. It does not work for the savages it’s unfortunate but unfortunately it’s very nice. It’s quality made. I’m not planning on sending it back, But my hope was it would’ve worked on all my guns.

makes cleaning your bore simple
This is not a bore guide made to fit in for ar15’s. there are specific bore rod guides made for ar15 type rifles specifically, it’s for other rifles such as bolt rifles. and hunting rifles. It works well in those and makes putting cleaning rod down the chamber simple and easy. protects the chamber from damage by the bore cleaning rod and tip. Used in conjunction with j. dewey’s swivel type bore cleaning rod and a parker hale style jag(highly recommend) and you got a easy efficient cleaning set up for bore cleaning.

Wasted money !
Ordered this bore guide (model ABS-1) for my rifle in .204 Ruger . Simply ,, it doesn’t work !! Hard to find a bore guide for a .20 caliber rifle. Quality of this guide seem quite good .. I’ll try it on some of my other rifles

Great Product. Works as described.
This product is great and much better than any universal rod guide I have ever used. Very user friendly and easy to use. It even comes with extra o-rings if you would need them. I would definitely recommend this product.

Smart and easy
I use this bore guide for my x-bolt, O3A3, and Rem 700. A smart design allows me to use it with all rifles. (30 cal). Easy to use and Quality construction it should last for a very long time . The hole on side will help with collecting fluids, but I just put a paper towel under guide to make sure no cleaner falls on the gun.
