Love this all-steel endplate especially for the price. It's cheaper and stronger than most other aluminum or soft steel plates. Staking takes a bit more effort than aluminum ones, but it gave me ultra confidence that it won't come loose or come busted if I use the QD point with slings.

not a milspec end plate
I tried using it with two different milspec buffer tube, it wouldn’t fit. I didn’t want to force it and mess up the buffer tubes. I was excited on using it, bought it because of the 5 star reviews. Stick to a name brand and not buy this because its at a lower price. Oh well lesson learned.

must have for single point sling
This is a must have for a single point sling. Cheapest price out of any brand. I have one on every rifle.

good quality end plate
I installed this end plate on an AR-15 pistol in 9 mm for a single-point sling. Works well but one thing the buyer needs to know is that the QD sling swivel only works in one direction. If you install it backwards the QD swivel will just pull out of the mounting hole. There isn’t any markings on the end plate to show which side goes out so you need to install the QD sling swivel in the end plate to find out which side faces out. I, of course, originally put it on backwards then found that the sling swivel just pulled out so I had to disassemble it and flip the end plate around. Otherwise, it works well and it’s inexpensive. It’s well made, not fancy, but it works.

Poor quality
This item was loose on every QD sling swivel I tried. You could pull out the sling swivel with little or no effort. Additionally, the overall finish was of poor quality. For a couple bucks more you can get a much better end plate/ QD adapter from Bravo Co. or Leaperd UTG.

QD hole is too big
As another reviewer states, the QD holes is too big and after trying different model of slings (Blue Force, Magpul, and Viking Tactical) with different styles of QD attachments, all of them come out this mount when you put any pull pressure on the slings. Also, the product images make it seem like there's a nice smooth finish on the end plate, but it's just raw metal (maybe a phosphate finish if anything). I only bought this because most of the other better known models were sold out, but it's very poorly made. You get what you pay for with this one, look elsewhere.

QD does not work
The QD hole is too large and won't connect to my sling. My UTG sling end plate works perfectly fine, so I know it's not my sling that is to blame. Spend a bit more money and get a sling end plate that actually works. I would like my money back, but I've not had the best experience with Opics Planets customer service

Quick Detach Buffer Plate
Fits and works perfectly on commercial and milspec buffer tubes. No issues whatsoever. You can't beat the price. Quick detach locks in solid and stays put. I looked at many other plates considering price and material and went with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Qd End plates were on sale for an excellent price! Easy to install with the AR tool I purchased at the same time! Would definitly recommend! My order shipped fast and I am extremely satisfied with this purchase! Have shopped at OP before and have never been disapointed!!

Does What the Other QD End Plates Do For Less
I have grown to love QD slings. For my pistol build, I wanted to play with an end plate QD mount. I waffled back and forth on different end plates but landed on this one. It seems well built and has worked without issue on on the first few shooting outings. I recommend it if you are wanting a durable steel end plate and to keep your build cost down.
