Garbage from day one
I took a chance and I am glad the price on this item was cheap. It is a steaming pile of $#!t. It does NOT clamp on to the 1913 rail like the mil spec one I have does. Detents on the elevation and windage knobs feels pretty weak. Thin sheet metal on the clamp side. Just doesn't feel great. Good thing it was cheap.

Delivered broken
One of the claws was chipped 1/2 way off. It still holds on and returning is a hassle… just easier to tell people to buy some other carry handle. I took a picture and hoped to upload so people can see the (lack of) quality they were spending their money on… but I see no place to up load it.

Sturdy and good price
The Carry handle I recieved did not have grooves in it like shown in the picture, also it was not stamped with USA like shown in the pictures (it has no markings at all) but with that said for the price Im still happy with this item, fits nicely and its sturdy, it does the job well.

Ok for the money
I don't really know what the complaint about this carry handle is about. I just got mine and I think the finish is pretty good. I have installed it onto my ar15 and it clamps down firmly...no wiggle or anything. No sharp edges. I do understand the windage knob moving when switching between aperture. It is most likely do to possible loctite used. I have tested my UTG one and it also moves. But, I am thinking that if it isn't there, the aperture will just flop around due to recoil. regardless, it shouldn't make that much of a difference.
I would show pictures of the carry handle I received, but Optics Planet doesn't provide that option. Overall, I would consider this a good option for those on a budget.

NOT AS SHOWN IN PICTURES
THE PICTURES SHOWS IT MARKED "MADE IN THE USA" THE ONES I RECEIVED ARE NOT MARKED AT ALL, POOR QUALITY ALSO, THERE ARE SHARP BURRS ON THE SLOT HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CARRY HANDLE, I TRIED TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY PHONE AND I GOT A MESSAGE THAT THEY ARE OVERWELHEMED WITH CALLS AND COULD NOT TAKE MY CALL, NOT GOOD.

You get what you pay for!
This part seemed to be quality until I got to adjusting the the rear sight. Total junk! this thing moves around like crazy and I'm sure will never hold a zero. Also, there is no mark on the aperture to center the sight or reference. When flipping between the two apertures, the left/right adjustment knob would back off one click each time. It appears to be threaded for a set screw, but one was not provided. It is my own fault for going cheap, however, I have purchased other inexpensive carry handles in the past which were very good.

Great value
There are probably better carry handles with rear iron sights at a much higher price, but the price value of this product cannot be beat. I would recommend it to anyone to complete out your build. I was going for a standard military version of my rifle, in this completed it perfectly.

JE Machine Tech AR-15 Aluminum Carry Handle
Feels nice and sturdy just from holding the box, installed nice and easy onto my AR15. The material feels solid, but the rear sight isn't good. While adjusting the sight, the entire rear block moves around loosely. Enough movement to throw off your zero. Any slight touch to the rear sight was awful and never centered correctly. Feels like this should be used on an airsoft rifle.... but the slight recoil you get from an air rifle might even throw off your zero. I would definitely not buy this again and it honestly shouldn't be sold. Terrible product. I am currently waiting for another carry handle from AIM. My friend bought that one and is sturdy as it should be. For a few more extra bucks, get the AIM if your looking for a budget carry handle with a sight the actually works.

Very nice handle and sights are excellent
Removed the carry handle from the box, clamped it to the top rail and it is a perfect match to their front sight. I had purchased the front and rear sight set just in case the carry handle sight would be on a different plane, they matched up perfectly.
