These are great. They appear to run along the centerline of the bore. There are two set screws instead of one which I like a lot. They feel well made. I already have sights I like and I wanted to offset them so I used these for that. I could not get an exact offset sight that worked for me and it was cheaper to buy these than buy new dedicated offsets.

Perfect offset pic rail mount for canted red dot. Well made, feels solid, mounted easy and its low profile fits close to my scope mount. Picked this over top mount as I didn't want to raise my head up for close acquisition. JP stuff is top notch!
Pros:
- Low profile
- High quality /durability
Best Used for:
- Offset light mounting surface
- offset red dot

This mount's claim to fame is to center the pic rail over the bore axis, and it does it. This isn't so important for many accessories, but is desirable for back-up sights/optics. It's low enough that it would likely be on the same plan with absolute co-witness height optics when rolling over to 45 degrees which makes for a seamless transition. If your main optic is higher, you can always add a spacer. Getting lower is the harder job. It's a pricey little piece, but there aren't many out there that are fit for this purpose, so I figure you are paying for the engineering. I'll use this for all my offset BUIS etc applications in the future.
Best Used for:
- Back Up Sights and Optics

I bought JP offset because of SuperSetCA from YouTube. He's a man that practice his craft. Any recommendations from him is always great.
So I bought this piece and now it's on my rifle.
The build is slim and 10 out of 10 quality.

What the title says. I wanted to offset a Sig Sauer Romeo5 45 degrees from my LPVO. The cheap POS offset adapter from my LGS has the rail set too high, and both placed the optic out of alignment with the bore, and interfered with the LPVO mount unless I placed it on the handguard. The JP Enterprises adapter allows me to place the sight on the upper receiver--just behind the LPVO mount--and puts the sight in-line with the bore.
I have not had a chance to sight my red dot in yet, and haven't tested the adapter for durability and repeatability yet. I do not expect to have any problems in those areas. If I do, I will update my review accordingly.
Pros:
- Fits under cantilevered scope mount
- Aligns sight with bore axis

I needed two of these to mount a rifle scope. The rifle was drilled and tapped for an old Weaver side mount that put a modern scope too far aft. I replaced the base with a Picatinny rail. The first attempt at scope rings was two cheesy flashlight mounts, and they loosened under recoil. This 45 degree adapter has square recoil lugs that engage the rail slots. Each adapter has two lugs and two clamping screws. It’s not going anywhere. The recoil lugs are a bit short and centered on the rail. I would avoid using a Picatinny rail with an aggressive relief slot down the center. The geometry of the offset put my scope very close to directly over the center of the bore.
Pros:
- solid
- well finished
- Keeps optics close to center of bore
Cons:
- Expensive
- Not much recoil lug engagement with a slotted raiil

After purchasing a couple of other offset mounts, I finally came to this one. It mounts your red dot, imho, right where it needs to be. Low enough to operate the switches ( if they are on the left side of red dot), offset enough to not interfere with an LPVO and small enough to not suck up so much real estate that you can't mount it. Seems to be a great little mount and works!
Some folks say the price is a little high. It seems to be in line with most red dots on the market. For the extra $10 it was worth it to me. After spending $100 on 2 different mounts just to find out they were too big or too weak, this one was actually the best I found!
Cons:
- None that have been found so far
Best Used for:
- Rifles with 1911 Picatinny rail

I spoke with JP before purchasing this. It is true offset to bore and not just the to of the rail. My only gripe is that its only got 3 slots, so my red dots hang over both ends of the adaptor. For reference, one is a a holosun 507 with riser, and one is a deltapoint pro with riser.

I bought other off-set mounts from OP (MI, DD, Weaver) to compare for my needs, and this one has the lowest bore-height out of them all when mounted on an AR platform. The angle is a true 45 degree mount, and sits low and close to the bore-axis(which may be an issue for setups using cheek risers)
It has the one of the largest footprints on the rail, and has the most fasteners.
However, it has the highest / girthiest base plate. This shouldnt be an issue for most standard height LPVOs when mounted between the scope rings
This mount has the least material out of the group, and the ruggedness may not be on-par with the others seeing the amount of material.
Pros:
- low height
- true 45 degree angle
Best Used for:
- AR Platforms where offset is required

this offset mount is high quality & has a great finish. In practical shooting events, its a life saver! The targets that are tucked away become easier to engage since you do not have to perform a hard lean. Buy now, you will be glad you did.
