Had this adjustable gas block for a while, I’ve had nonstop issues with it. First it doesn’t want to work with Geissele handguards. The most annoying is my set screw is there and it’s not doing anything. Tightened all the way down as best as I can just for my gas adjustment screw to walk. Would heavily recommend the Faxon adjustable over this one any day. Absolutely garbage.

This is my favorite gas block to install. It allows you to clamp in place very securely then easily drill and pin in place for complete peace of mind. My only criticisms are that it uses a locking screw rather than a detent to hold the gas position, and it's a bit thiccc so you can't fit it under the slimmest handguards.

Installed on a .750 barrel for a 300blk build. Clamp makes install slightly more difficult. Let off adj screw needs space in the handguard to unscrew. Set screw to lock in adj screw somewhat difficult to get to. It's heavy. Need to deinstall foregrip before taking off handguard (hardware hits the gas block because its chunky AF).

Works as it should. Quality piece. Other options out there.

Great gas block that pairs great with the JP buffer system

Nothing too fancy but from a great manufacturer. Pairs great with the JP buffer system.

I installed the gas block on my 5.56 AR, made all the appropriate adjustments and it was virtually perfect, I was impressed. Since then, I've put about 500 rounds through the weapon, and recently noticed that it began showing signs of being undergassed, so today I took it out to solve the issue. I found that after turning the gas adjustment screw all the way in and then backing it out slowly to where it would somewhat reliably cycle, my ejection pattern was all over the place (between 1:30 and 5:00 ejections). If it was turned in ever so slightly, it would be quite undergassed, the same turn back out would be totally overgassed. I'm talking 1/8 of a turn, maybe, between the two conditions. It also appears the adjustment screw is quite loose at this point, even with the set screw tightened all the way down. I did contact JP Enterprises and they basically just gave me the basic information that I had already known and looked at. They weren't particularly helpful. I have used other adjustable gas blocks that were way more reliable, will definitely be using those instead.

I was very leary on this product before i bought it, just because of the face that it was clamping instead of set screw for dimple. But after installing this thing is solid! And has the ability to be pinned

This adjustable gas block is by far the best product I have ever used. Its fit and machining are virtually perfect and the block installed very easily. The set screws fit perfectly and the tools provided to install were very adequate. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone Building an AR15.

I had to back the adjustment screw out quite a bit for it it work with my gun which led to it contacting my hand guard to the point I could not get it on without scratching it. Luckily the Allen hole in the screw is deep enough that I could file down the screw and still use it.

I highly recommend this gas block. Haven’t had a misfire or a jam yet super easy to install. Great product.
