JR's Review of JP Enterprises .750 Adjustable Gas Block

The Jp low profile gas block slid onto my barrel smoothly and was easily able to align it with gas port and get it clamped onto barrel nice and snug. The adjustable set up seems to work well after you get it tuned allowing the right amount gas to go through to push the bcg back enough to be reliable. Chose the stainless bead blasted matte finish to match my furniture and controls on my custom rifle build. It was a tight fight but it fit perfectly under a 16” fortis night rail just had to be careful sliding the night rail over the gas block and onto the barrel nut in order not to come in contact causing possible scratched on the finish of either part. the only issue with it I have is the placement of the adjustment screw. It may be only an issue due to the handguard i have on my rifle and jp does warn that it may not be accessible on other free float handguards other than their own but wish they would of came up with a way to make it accessible from the front of the gas block and placed the the set screw holding the adjustment screw secure on the side about 1/4 inch further to the front. Not sure if that would help make it compatible with other free float handguards but would make it accessible on the night rail. Since thats probably a personal issue with the rail i have and they warn that it may not be accessible with other free float rails besides theirs im not deducting any stars for it. its still usable on my rifle just a little more of a hassle having to loosen the barrel nut n slide the rail forward a little bit to be able to access the adjustment screw to tune it but once it’s tuned you probably wont have mess with it after that unless you need to adjust the gas later on for some reason.
