Most Helpful Positive Review Lightweight design reduces felt recoil
The LMOS design of this bolt carrier weighs 2oz. less than the standard JP bolt carrier, and while 2oz. doesn’t seem like much, it definitely reduces the felt recoil in my .308 Winchester Aero Precision M5E1. Any time that you can reduce the reciprocating weight in a semi-automatic firearm (while maintaining reliability) the result will be less felt recoil. An added bonus of the lower weight means that on the forward stroke the muzzle will have less tendency to dip down, so you can stay on-target better resulting in faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The machining and finish on this item is impeccable. This is the lighter bolt so I recommend using this with the JP adjustable gas block

Good quality in machining and QPQ finish. Purchased this for the bolt that came with a JP barrel. The bolt is properly head spaced for the barrel. JP has consistent quality in all their parts.

This is one of the best bcg's on the market for ar10's. Lightweight, strong, and smooth like butter.. It's not full auto capible, but it does run multiple calibers like 6.5cm, 8.6blk, and possibly others. Looks great and functions flawlessly.

Have not had a chance to use at the range yet so I cant honestly speak about how it runs in the gun yet. Fit, finish and quality are way better than any other bolt carrier Ive used so far. Its very smooth in the reciever. Its a quality piece

My second low mass bolt carrier from JP my first one was variable mass and held up well. Hopefully this is good too. The machine job is flawless and no scratches on the bolt itself, fits my spare High pressure 308 bolt carrier group. Wish it shipped with cam pin and retaining pin though.

My first JP Large frame BCG, and Im happy with its quality and function. I’m guessing because the contact surface is even wider than the already wide AR15 BCG’s, the action is extremely smooth. I’m running this on a 16” 308 AR10 with JP captured spring system.
