Easy maintenance - JP Enterprises Gen 2 Silent Captured Buffer Spring System

On my AL-15 (Armalite Lefty) one day it suddenly short stroked, and upon clearing the jam, and disassembling the Stoner spring and buffer, it was noted the buffer had disintegrated, allowing the pieces to stack up in the tube, preventing the BCG from cycling. I researched this JP Enterprise Silent Captured Buffer Spring System, which was a recommendation from my son, including the new JP stop pin, and what is missing is the BOING sound. It leaves a very solid sound when working. On maintenance, pushing down the JP spring loaded pin, the JP system is captured, which makes it basically about the size of the BCG when removed. It only requires periodic lubrication. I highly recommend also installing the JP spring loaded retainer pin, as the standard Stoner pin catches on the spaces on the buffer, making it kind of a pain to remove without using the elongated JP pin.
