iLikeGuns's Review of JP Enterprises Titanium Firing Pin
Does not fit Armalite AR-10B series rifles built in Geneseo, IL.
Profile is different, and firing pin doesn’t protrude enough. I didn’t bother test firing, the difference is visually noticeable.
Forgot that AR-10’s have a firing pin spring unlike the AR-15, so I’m not too disappointed. I bought a titanium pin for my AR-15 at the same time since I was concerned about slam fire with commercial primers after installing a Geissele super 42 higher strength buffer spring and JP Enterprises low friction gas ring on my Geissele enhanced BCG. The lighter titanium pin is less likely to slam fire a sensitive primer. The AR-10 firing pin spring mitigates this possibility.

- less chance of slam firing
Cons:
