Round and screwy. So basically just like Joy Behar, only useful. Mil Spec, good quality. Seems to be up to snuff. Buy before whoever is pulling Joe Biden's strings gets their curtains hung in the White House.

tried installing a buffer tube with this castle nut and its too tight and it almost stripped the thread off the buffer tube, AVOID this product as it is out of spec and not a headache you want to deal with

Threads don’t match up to mil spec buffer tube

I ordered 2 for 2 separate builds and both of them would not work on a mil spec buffer tube and a aero precision enhanced buffer tube. The treads on the castle nut were trying to strip out my buffer tubes. Does not work. I do not recommend these.
