Smaller than 1.0, but with +/- - KAK Shockwave 2.0 Blade Stabilizer Brace w/Buffer Tube

I have used both first and second gen of the Shockwave Blade. While the advent of the adjustability is nice, you give up some of the lockup of the 1.0. When set in position it is a bit wobbly, but nothing horrible. Given such a small footprint for either shouldering or 'finning' on your forearm you will want something that locks tight like the 1.0 with it's allen set screw. The buffer tube is proprietary to the adjusting pawl of the 'Blade, but looks like something made specifically just to be different from a standard carbine tube.
I would disagree with the other reviewer in modifying the >brace< to facilitate a sling given how it may be perceived by ATF. A sling plate at the castle nut is better IMHO regardless.
In summary, compared to other brands it is incredibly light, works just fine and is very cost effective.
Compared to the 1.0 it is merely a tradeoff, not an upgrade.
