Proper function as in the buffer tube and brace, the smaller parts are separate, such as the castle nut.

I should've just saved a little more to buy the new sba4 adjustable brace. This is a cheap piece of plastic that becomes an eye sore on your pistol build. It wobbles horribly and the lever to extend gets stuck most of the time. Don't buy it.
