Most Helpful Negative Review KAK SHOCKWAVE is a nope.
I purchased this brace thinking I would save some money...wrong. I ended up buying the SB Tactical brace and this one is in my bucket of discarded junk. Save a step and buy something else...like an SBA3.

Works well for recent AR pistol build

It works well for a recent minimalist AR pistol build. I'm using a Law folder and this folds up and fits into a small backpack. With all the recent vehicle break-ins I needed a stealthy way to transport a truck gun. Never leave a weapon in your vehicle...

OK but will need to shim the slop

I cut up a beer can to make a shim/bushing. The fitment on a mil-spec tube is way too loose. Otherwise its decent. A bit smaller than expected, more of a "minimalist" style. It is a hard style brace, which i prefer over the softer more flexible SB type.

Excellent Arm Brace!

Several years ago I built from scratch a 9mm AR style Pistol using a Shockwave Blade 1.0 Pistol Arm Brace and it has worked flawlessly! However, since the Lower Receiver is dedicated to the Colt SMG style of Magazines, I got a new Lower to handle Mil-Spec 5.56mm Magazines for the AR-15/M16 Firearms. After building my AR-15 Rifle with an M4 style Stock, I purchased Palmetto State Armory's 10.5" Classic Pistol Upper, fully assembled. I then got the KAK Shockwave Blade 2M Pistol Arm Brace. Removing the M4 Stock and AR-15 Rifle Upper, then installing the KAK Shockwave Blade 2M and Palmetto State Armory 10.5" Classic Pistol Upper, takes only about a minute!

excellent brace

This brace is great. It has good adjustability and is rigid in design. For the price, this brace is excellent. The sba3 is more cushioning, but is possibly vulnerable due to not having an atf letter.

Shockwave Blade

Works well. Affordable blade for AR pistol. Low profile and simple design makes this more appealing than other AR braces. Adjustable feature improves upon previous design. Would recommend this as a solid option for anyone looking to build a pistol.

great pistol brace

Fits on carbine tube. works great as one would expect. I do wish it was a little larger like the original shockwave but having it adjust easily mmor then makes up for it. Fast shipping from optics planet as usual.

Very simple design and low cost. This one will get the job done without breaking the budget. Much better design than the first generationmodels.The shipping was pretty quick as well considering everything going on in the country.

Best inexpensive brace

I have both shockwave braces and other competitors as well on AR pistols. This shockwave 2m is probably the best bet for most people. It's adjustable, lightweight, inexpensive and durable. Can't say enough good things.
