Can't speak for SBRs, but with 5.56 16"+ barrels & bullpups, the concussion is extremely reduced compared to an A2 birdcage. The recoil impulse is flat, and there is no flash visible in daylight. 1.275 not 1.25
Be careful! I have a slimmer rail on my 300 blk build and I went to replace my can that also says it’s 1.25 , but on the wider parts after measuring this can the outside diameter is 1.275 and winds up being just a hare to large to fit inside my hand guard.
Review of Kaw Valley Precision 3.25in Magnum Linear Compensator
I bought this to replace a Kak Flash Can on a 12 in barrel for a 6.5 Grendel AR to help reduce noise while deer hunting. The before and after was night and day! Before I put this comp on, one shot would have my ears ringing for minutes. Since I installed this, I have had the chance to shoot at multiple deer, shooting 1-5 shots consecutively, and had no issues at all with my ears ringing.
I cannot speak to whether this actually helps with recoil mitigation, but I don't feel it has made recoil worse.
The only CON I can think of for this is its weight. It is heavier than I expected and I could definitely feel a difference in weight after putting it on my 12 in barrel 6.5 Grendel AR, but its noise reduction is absolutely worth it for me.
This has really saved my ears this rifle season and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to reduce noise without ear protection.

precision compensator
Put it on an AR pistol and it does help with noise level, 5.56 doesn't have a lot of recoil but it does seem reduced, maybe. Appreciate that it throws the smoke forward instead of up, made it easier to get back on target faster. Overall I am gald I made the purchase. Finally it looks better than the factory one.

Product is ok
Product is well made but nothing really impressive. Shipping from optics plantet took a long time. Somthing like 12 days from the time I ordered it.

Kaw Valley Magnum Review
I was a little shocked at the crude machine work on this compensator. It has mill marks on every side. And the end cap has dents and scratches all over it. Very poor quality. I own other kaw valley products, but this one is the worst.
Pros:
- Price (debatable) , it should be cheaper for the poor quality.

- Machine and finish quality. Dents, scratches, and mill marks from machining.
- Poor quality. Dents and scratches on end plate. Mill marks on every side from machining.

My barrel is 5/8x24 fine thread nowhere in this did it say this was corse thread and now I’m out 50 dollars.
