Nice Upgrade
I have several of the smaller versions, that I really enjoy. However, I felt it would be nice to help a little more with larger calibers. I tried this on out and was very happy. Simple design, but works well. I would recommend.

Kvp magnum linear compensator
I do like this one quite a bit i use a lot of different versions of linear comps on my shorty builds this one has compensator cuts on top and I like the function and look it does a good job of keeping my muzzle flat

Doesn't allow proper cycling in a pistol
Tried this on a 1911 45 acp and it wouldn't allow ejection of the cartridge. Possibly too heavy and counteracts the proper tilt action of a pistol. On top of that, I don't feel much reduction in recoil. The smaller versions of this like the one for 9 mm feels like they do what they're supposed to.

Sound forwader
Made a big difference in sound reduction for myself and everybody at the range appreciated it also.

well built
I started with this on the rifle, so I would have to remove it to see what the difference would be. I bought a brass washer from Ace Hardware that had the same OD as the Compensator. I opened the ID with a Dremmel to fit over the barrel threads and used a file and sanding block to set the width to get the top exhaust hole in the right position.I am very happy with the product.
Pros:
- lessons sound blast, reduces barrel rise
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- reduce barrel rise

Linear Comp
Purchased the Kaw Valley OPMOD Mega Hybrid-K for my AR pistol. I’ve never used one before and haven’t shot with this one yet but based on the construction and reviews, it will be worth it. I really like that it is longer and heavier than the A2 muzzle break, along with the 6 angled upward gas ports, it will help reduce muzzle rise and flash. Can’t wait to run it soon.
Pros:
- see review
Cons:
- N/A
Best Used for:
- AR/AK pistols or short barrel ones
