Works great for AR-9 builds
I purchased this buffer after a lot of research into building/tuning a 9mm AR-platform pistol/carbine. Since they operate on direct blowback, it is important to adjust your total reciprocating mass to reduce felt recoil, ensure proper cycling, prevent undue wear on the system, and (most importantly) delay blowback long enough for pressure in the system to drop to safe levels. As such, I was specifically looking for an extended (~4 inch) buffer with internal sliding weights, and the KVP-10oz meets both criteria.

Heavy buffer

It’s a must in 9MMPCC 10 ounce weight weight actually move inside. I think his name is blowback nine on YouTube has tons of knowledge he was saying you actually had to shave a little off the rubber part to make it an exact 4 inches so far I’ve done that to both of them and they’ve worked flawless, but I would definitely watch blowback nine he’s the man PCC extraordinaire

Made my 9 run perfect. I've seen where some trim the bumper pad a bit but mine ran fine with zero modifications. Clearance with LRBHO was exact. Using a standard flat wire spring.

I hate to say it, but it is the only one that worked. I’m in business. I would say ( (expensive )but it’s the only one that works. Springs are a big factor, but the buffer weigh is necessary. With the movable weights inside.

This is a great buffer with moving weights inside. This should help my 9mm occ with bolt bounce and a solid lock up. Quality appears to be first rate with no noticeable flaws.
