Most Helpful Positive Review Works great for AR-9 builds

I purchased this buffer after a lot of research into building/tuning a 9mm AR-platform pistol/carbine. Since they operate on direct blowback, it is important to adjust your total reciprocating mass to reduce felt recoil, ensure proper cycling, prevent undue wear on the system, and (most importantly) delay blowback long enough for pressure in the system to drop to safe levels. As such, I was specifically looking for an extended (~4 inch) buffer with internal sliding weights, and the KVP-10oz meets both criteria. If you have a PCC this is THE buffer to use. All others didn't work - this one did. Not cheap but it works!

perfect 9mm PCC buffer

Purchased this for my 10.5” 9mm PCC. Combining this with a standard Carbine spring made it extremely soft shooting. Cycles both 115g and 147g subs perfectly both suppressed and unsuppressed. I highly recommend this buffer if you’re looking to make your PCC shoot as soft as possible.

Works great. Perfect weight and deadblow action for my AR45. Will definitely use again for future builds.

Cons:

Need to shave a little off cushion to make exactly 4"

Heavy buffer

Works great in my blowback AR9, gun cycles just like it is suppose to. Feels and looks high quality. Weighed on kitchen scale and it weighed 10.1oz!
