Kensight M1 Garand Front Sight
Good idea, but poor materials. The front of the
Garand barrel heats up and the red element melted.
This apparently happened to another customer on
his review, and I should have listened to him.
Manufacturer needs to do better testing or put
a warning in the item.

I got this to replace an old issue front sight on a Tanker 7.62mm M1 build. My version is the steel NM sight, not the fiber optic version. It installed easily, seems well made of good steel and looks good. With the shorter sighting radius on a Tanker, the narrower NM blade works well.
