Worth the money
Once I set it up and trued my ballistics this solver stays accurate and gives me good info for stages. I can trust my dope and not have to worry about missing high or low. Being able to build target cards for all the stages before I get to the match saves a ton of stress and allows me to focus on other things.

Well built water proof works as intended. Haven't put in a lot of time with it yet but first match it went to rained all day and what little I did know about it put me on target from the gate.

I looked at these for months wondering if I could get away with not buying one and just use a ballistics program on my phone. For drops, and because I don’t compete, I probably could have, but I’m not good at wind estimates and these are great at that. The benefits of all this will do for me really show up at 400 yards plus when hunting in the mountains as the combination of wind estimates and actual atmospheric conditions will translate into accurate shooting solutions vs inaccurate solutions causing misses and worse, wounded game. It’s not hard to figure out how to use. The manual can be downloaded online. I highly recommend it.

From what I know
I picked this up as I realized, from a 12" drop in a shot at 320yds while hunting, from a combination of weather and temperature sensitive powder, that I needed to change to a more stable powder and have some help on the weather. I can even tell with 60yd shots with my .22lr that weather would change POI a little. I'm hoping this cures it. The stable powder has helped immensely and I'm sure this will help too.
A buddy of mine that does long distance shooting swears by him and others he shoots with, this is a huge increase of great cold bore shots with weather changes to hit the targets.

Kestrel 5700 Elite Meter have been the gold standard for a while. I was using strelok for years and on the fence about needing a Kestrel. Now that I have one I'll never go back. Awesome product at an awesome price with great delivery times. Thank you!
