Solid lock-down
An Aimpoint H2 was mated to the mount and put on a Sig MPX. Once I got the hang of the spring loaded push button on the front (which eliminates inadvertent removals), it went on the rail with a positive click with NO wiggle or looseness whatsoever. The height is just right for the MPX and the BUIS ...

Faulty mount
Bought this with a T-2 Micro. Optics planet sent me one with the holes not even drilled in the middle like the pics, whatever I thought. It’s just looks and a little weight. So I mounted my T-2 and followed the instructions online to lock it down to my rail. Nope. Didn’t work. The mechanism on the b...

Kinetic Development Group SIDELOK
This is the best quick detach mount I have used for the Aimpoint T2.
Would recommend: Yes
Excellent mounting solution. Return to zero.
The Kenetic Development Group is one of my favorite brands and one of my first choices for my optic. The lockup of the connection to the picatinny rail is rock solid once the lever is released. This will give you a true return to zero once you're dialed in. It's an incredible system.
The only downside is the construction. The mount is heavy compared to some newer offerings. The tiny spring mechanisms within could be a potential point of failure for high-speed guys who larp heavy. Otherwise, for range bros, it's a great way to swap items from any rifle or shotgun with M-lok with expediency.

Innovation meets modularity
The Kinetic Development Group Sdelok™ is exactly what I wanted out of a quick detach system. I am proud to own the RMR Sdelok mount as well. I will continue to support Kenetic Development and Optics planet and would like to thank everyone involved who helped make and deliver these absolute bombproof mounting solutions. Return to zero has never been easier, you can trust thr Kinetic Development Sidelok mounts and accessories 100% Flawless and time tested with many reviews concluding the same unequivocally conclusion.
Pros:
- Built to Last
- American made
- return to zero
- Easy detachment
Cons:
- Weight vs. Aluminum options
Best Used for:
- Owner who swaps optics often.

sidelok Mount
This mount works great. holds zero even when you take it off and put back on. the only thing was it did not have the holes like the picture, but i think this makes it more durable.
Pros:
- light, easy to take on and off. holds zero.
Cons:
- None

Solid Mount
I purchased this mount for my Aimpoint Micro T2 Red Dot. This mount is solidly constructed and secure on my AR-15 and I have no complaints or concerns at all.
On a side note, I too was wondering, (as some have expressed in their reviews,) why the photo on the website and the product do not exactly match. My mount did not have the three open holes in it like the photo shows. I contacted Optics Planet and was told that the photo on the website is supplied by the manufacture and shows an older version of the product, so apparently there had been a slight design change in the mount. This is purely cosmetic and has no bearing on the function of the mount.

Technology
I do enjoy this , it’s my second purchase on this item and like the quick attach and detach. The install does come with what appears to be a hex tool that has been cut and having to use this in certain areas can be a real pain

No holes? No deal!
Thought I was buying a strong and beautiful mount. Yeah, I do care. Product pictured is NOT product received. I didn’t even try to mount it. There are NO holes. Only minor circular engravings. Therefore, the decision to return it along with the Holosun red dot I purchased as a bundle deal is already made. If the product received doesn’t look like the picture that I naturally assumed was of the product on which I came to spend money, then I’m just not interested. It’s principle. Unhappy.
Pros:

Cons:
- NOT product pictured

QD without the lever
I bought this mount because it was in stock during these crazy buy it just in case days. I really wasn’t planning on a QD mount for a new Aimpoint T2 as it was going to be zeroed and left alone. After mounting and attaching to rail, I realized I wasn’t 100% sure what slot I wanted. It is so solid and easy to move. I’ll never trust a lever again. Makes removing sight to clean the gun super easy.
Pros:
- Design and construction
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

Halfway meets expectations
The company website, as well as the photos on OP show holes, mine did not have holes drilled all the way through, ultimately this doesn't effect the performance, but it speaks to quality control. The packaging also claims the screws come with thread locker on them, they did not. Again not a hard fix. Finally, this is my biggest complaint by far, is the way the locking mechanism operates. No matter how hard I tried, I wasn't able to get the mount to lock to my upper receiver, but it did lock as expected to the rail on the handguard. Hard to say if that's a problem with the mount or my upper. I probably need to test it on some other pic rails. Overall I think it'll get the job done for now, I can make it work, but I probably wouldn't suggest this to another buyer. I honestly expected far better quality for the price they ask. I probably would have been just as well off paying 2/3 the price for something less complicated off eBay.

Simple Yet Effective
This mounting system was pretty easy to assemble with my Holosun Paralow optic and even easier to latch onto my rails, firm placement. Not the most aesthetically pleasing but it def gets the job done in a quick and intuitive way.
Pros:
- Ease of installation
- firm placement
Cons:
- Not the most aesthetic mount
Best Used for:
- Home Defense
- target practice
