Fantastic design, sits about 1/2 inch lower than the stock mount that the aim point pro comes with. Instructions come in the package on how to assemble and tool are provided as well. Love this product.

This thing is as heavy as the Aim Point Pro I bundled it with. It is very heavy, probably last forever, haven’t even taken it out of the packaging, it’s just too heavy to even consider using. I will return it.

Great for mounting my Aim Point PRO sight, when fitted to the rail it is solid, when I want to swap the sight out just push the button and off it comes.

I really like Kinetic products. They are very well made,high quality. I purchased this one to mount an Aimpiont COMP M4s. There are 2 part's the mount and the mounting bracket. I didn't care for that too much I would have rather had a 1 piece mount. So the mounting bracket attaches to the Aimpiont with 2 screws. It's a solid attachment. The assembly then attaches with 4 tiny little screws,oh I forgot to mention these screws should be installed prior to attaching the mounting bracket because you won't be able to once the bracket is installed. There isn't enough room between the bracket and the Aimpiont. This is a little bit tedious if you are installing a COMP M4s because the battery is on the bottom of the Aimpiont. It comes with a 1/16 Allen wrench which has been made specially for this install. The short end of the wrench has been been shortend by half so that you can get it in between the Aimpiont and the battery. Then you can only turn the screw about a quarter turn at a time. It's tricky getting the wrench in the head of the screw it takes patience but it can be done. Be careful not to strip it. Once it was assembled I would say it seems very solid. It goes on the weapon easy. You just line it up where you want it on rail and roll it on. It makes an audible click when it's installed correctly. If it doesn't click it's not attached correctly. Works very well and extremely durable. I bought this to swap out my compact ACOG. It's half the cost and still performs the task required. If I were ask would I recommend this product my answer is a definite yes. A welcome addition to my Aimpoint Pro. Easy to install also.

Great mount, rock solid, Fast quick detach and reattach method. If you assemble this mount correctly it is bomb proof. There are a few small screws that are easy to strip if you’re over torquing so Tread with caution. The fit and finish of the mount is excellent. It’s built well. It does work for Aimpoint PRO ML2 ACO M4 and possible others. I use mine with an Aimpoint pro and it’s an excellent option

low profile, no protruding parts. really streamlined the upper reciever mounting area. 500 rounds thru the rifle and still holding tight. install took a little patience especially for the little screws that hold the optic to the baseplate.loctite everything!

I purchased this as a package deal with the aimpoint PRO. I’ve done a lot of research for a high quality mount and couldn’t pass up the deal Optics Planet was offering on this mount. It mounts solid to my BCM upper as I am sure it would to any AR upper. The versatility with this mount is unparalleled. It literally takes less than a second to remove and reinstall the PRO on my rifle. It does hold zero as advertised and it is light and solidly built. A major benefit is it gets rid of Aimpoint’s large lockdown knob from the left side of your rifle!

4 stars just because it is a little difficult to push the button while holding sight and try to attach to rifle. I am sure with practice it will become much easier. As you can see in the picture, the button sits right under the front of the sight. Anyone with small hands will have a tougher time. However, the Sidelok does exactly what it is suppose to do. The sight does not move and although I have not tested the ability to return to zero after removing. I am confident it will do just that.
