Most Helpful Positive Review The Mr. Clean for Removing Powder Residue
This is by far the best cleaner for removing stubborn gun powder residue. I use it with all my pistols, revolvers, rifle and shot gun actions & barrels. I begin with the use of a regular cleaner of choice (e.g., Hoppes, etc). I cut the Lead-Away cloth into short strips - perhaps 1.5" long by .5" wide (22LR, wider for large calibers). Insert a strip in a loop jag, turn the strip 90 degrees so it looks like a "butterfly" and run it through the bore several times. clean stainless steel revolvers

Amazing how much carbon and lead this will remove. My revolver is love lead ammo and the residue left behind is unsightly, but these wipes remove most of it if not all of it if I time it right.
