Installed on gen1 to get rid of the "enhanced" magwell. Have to say i should've just chopped the factory plastic. This isn't a disappointment, just unnecessary. Never knew how much I preferred the factory gen1 grip until I tried a hogue. The ACE is a heavy milled reciever, but was still easily one-handed with the stock grip. Now I'm stuck hinting a grip with an appropriate palm-swell to aid with single hand stability. Unless you hate the oe grip feel,I recommend cutting the plastic to get slab-sides/etc. to fit.

Oooh wee this let you use the big boi clips like the drums they dont want you to have but got every right to this thing worked flawless for my gallil and paired nicely with my favorite grips you know the mag pul ones and some of the korean wind-up boxes

This works great on my DEAL of the century galil ace gen 1 from sweaty ben. Before I wasn't able to fit the fatties mags such as the bakelite, circle 10, xmag, barely fits pmags. Now with the plastic delete kit I can fit all mags. The wobble on slimmer mags is fine. The functions with wobble mags.

For those out there who really do not like the aesthetics or functional limitations of the Galil ACE 7.62X39, the KNS Plastic Delete Kit is for you! As an AK platform fan, I have many types of AK magazines and expect to be able to use them on all AK platform rifles. Yes, the Galil ACE is an AK platform. However, it does not all for the use of many AK magazines due to the needless plastic shroud around the magazine well. I tried cutting/modifying the plastic around the shroud which did allow for some additional magazine use but still presented with some limitations. I finally went for the KNS and it solved all compatibility issues. Additionally, the full removal of the plastic shroud revealed a much more militarized version of the Galil which is now functional with all accessories. Added a Midwest Industries handguard and a Lantac Dragon muzzle brake to come up with a really fantastic, perhaps the ultimate, AK platform in 7.62X39.
Buy it, you will like it and won't look back to the plastic design flaw of the Galil ACE.
One design recommendation I would make to KNS is that they incorporate the anchor plate into the original hand grip anchor plate and bolt. This would sandwich the KNS between the rifle and grip for a super strong attachment.

Visually I do not like the stock plastic grip, on top of that it makes it harder to load mags from it. The delete kit from KNS makes the weapon less bulky, looks better, easier to load mags and gives you the option for your AR pistol grip. Highly recommend, worth the money, fairly easy to install.

So I just received this put it on last night and it fits fantastic with the Daniel defense pistol grip I would really recommend this product to anybody who wants to alter the Galil to look more like an AK AK....
