Good scope for the money
Hi All. I'm IPSC shooter from Ukraine, and select this scope as my first scope for my AR15 carbine (14" barrel). I shoot with this scope about 3000 rounds, and it works fine. I shot at 200m, 300m and hits plate 25x25sm without a problems. Cons of this scope only small battery life. You can see pho...

Not as advertised
The scope in the pictures and description is not what arrived in my order. There is no level bubble, and the turrets are not locking as pictured, but have screw covers over the adjustment knobs. Glass is clear and the illuminated reticle is fine, but with no level and no locking turrets, this scop...

Nice scope for price
Clear optics, minor curvature at extreme visual borders, nice blue or red illumination dot. Had trouble getting the focus lock ring to unscrew from the rear ocular after getting proper focus. Had to use penetrating oil and a rubber jar lid opener to finally unscrew it. Then it all worked fine.
Pros:
- Price and clarity
- price ,clarity and performance
Cons:
- slight visual curvature seen
Best Used for:
- AR-type rifles

Not as pictured
Not as pictured but still a good product for the money. Very accurate tracking on adjustments. Clear edge to edge optics. Ocular focus adjustment is sensitive.t goes in and out of focus quickly. I own three Konus products and optical quality is equal to higher cost products

Good short range scope
I bought this scope with the intent to use at a 50, 100, & 200yd rifle range. The glass is clear and the cross hairs are crisp. I'm quite surprised at the quality for the price. I currently have it mounted on a Yugo OPAP Ak-47 and it's survived about 400 rounds so far. It didn't take long to sight in and I'm pleased with it. I'd definitely buy another one. The illuminated reticle isn't of much use but that wasn't a concern of mine.

Great Optic for the price.
Most optics like the Konus M30 are at least double the cost. That being said it is not on par with Nightforce or Leupold so don't set that expectation. The 1x is clear and that is maintained though to 4x. The zoom adjustment is smooth and not to stiff and the torrents are nice and positive.
It is apparent on my scope that the center dot is illuminated from one side as the brightness fades to the other. It is not very bright but will work fine in low light conditions. This is the only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars.
I cannot speak to durability as I have only run a hundred or so rounds through it so far, but it has maintained zero with no issues.

Konus M-30
Let me say that this scope has performed great on my AR rifle. The reason I chose this scope was the illuminated dot on the recticle and the blue dot option is the bomb. When I decided I wanted a low power scope with the illuminated dot I started looking at all makes and there probable is some made slightly better but you'll pay a whole lot more and the performance will be the same. I chose Konus because me and my shooting buddies all use Konus spotting scopes and their quality for the money can't be beat. This holds true with their scope line. This is my second one to purchase and plan to buy another if I can catch it on sale again for 133.00. I started to buy two at that price now I wish I had. These scopes are perfect for AR style rifles. I know there are some negative reviews but I havn't experience any of the problems mentioned with my first one. My latest purchase is mounted on my current build and havnt sighted it in but expect it to be exactly like my other. For a scope with these options and under 200.00 can't be beat. The only one that comes close is Leupold and you'll pay around 500.00 for it. I'll probably buy another and try it out on my Marlin 45-70 guide gun and see how it will hold up under the kick of the 45-70 and give a review on that. So, if planning to mount this on an AR type I think you will be more than satisfied with the results.
Pros:
- The blue dot option
- 30 mm tube
- Comes with flip up lense covers
- Crisp positive clicks on adjustment knobs
Cons:
- None for what it cost
Best Used for:
- Quick close up shots
- Would be great for muzzle loader rifles
- Best for Ar style rifles.

Great scope for the price.
These are very good scopes for the price. Just about true 1x power at the low end. And even though there is a little magnification at 1x, it is less than I have seen on more expensive scopes, and it is so little that you can still shoot with both eyes open, even at CQB distances. They have generous eye relief and the glass itself is clear and bright. The dials are easy to use, do what they're supposed to do, and stay where they're supposed to when you're finished adjusting. Illumination works well in Red or Blue, although on the second one of these I bought, the Blue isn't quite as bright as on the first. No big deal though, still bright enough. Fairly rugged; mine get banged around and still hold zero. The reticle is nice, but not as cool as the Vortex Viper PST 1x-4x. FYI the turrets do not look like the ones pictured (as of 12/19/14), they are flat. I would not hesitate to buy more of these scopes.

Excellent scope. Great Value!
A fine scope and great value for the money. The 30mm tube is great for usability. Clear, bright, sharp. Have already won a local marksmanship contest with it on an AR-15 HBAR. Highly recommended.
Pros: Value, features, quality
Cons: Illuminated reticle not very bright
