Kowa 883 with zoom eyepiece
I purchased the zoom eyepiece and the Kowa 883 scope together and really consider it one purchase. It is the best scope I have ever used or tried and I've used Swars, Zeiss, Liecas, Nikons, Pentax, Celestron, Bushnell and probably some others I don't remember. Kowa Interchangeable Eyepieces for Kowa TSN-770 and TSN-880 Spotting Scopes
This is an okay scope but for the price it is highly over rated
Pros: Marginally better than scopes at 1/10 the price
Cons: Overpriced Over rated
Great for from-shore pelagic birding
Love the quality of the image. Scanning on the scope with this eyepiece allowed me to spot and identify a very distant Razorbill and a very distant small shearwater from Gulf State Pier in Alabama.
Pros: easy to increase magnification while staying on a bird

TE-10Z for the pistol range
Although the TE-20H 25X LER is fine for any pistol caliber from the 25 and 50 yard line, to see the holes left by a 22 at 100 yards, 40X or 50X power is necessary. The TE-10Z 20-60X zoom eyepiece is great for the 22 caliber out to 100 yards. Of course larger calibers are even easier to see and require less magnification. I don't try to use the full 60X because the depth of field is so narrow that unless the paper target is exactly at a right angle to the trajectory, there is distortion. The zoom mechanism is smooth and offers sufficient resistance to make adjustments easy. I rarely use my other eyepieces since getting this one.
Pros: Quality consistent with 883 Kowa scope with which it mates
