Most Helpful Positive Review Improved clarity
The TE-11WZ 25-60 Wide Zoom eyepiece was bought to replace the older model (TE-10Z) zoom. The improved clarity with the new TE-11WZ model is easily discernible when compared with the older model and I have no objection to having paid the admittedly much higher price. I can now distinguish 22LR bullet holes in paper easily at 300 yards if the mirage isn’t too bad and sometimes (with difficulty) larger caliber holes at 400 yards.

This eyepiece works wonderfully in my KOWA 88 spotting scope. I am sure it would be the same in the 99. Expensive, but a very nice piece of equipment.

Iowa 25-60 Wide Angle Zoom

I purchased this along with the Kowa TSN-880-883 spotting scope to use for bird watching. The combo is amazing for clarity and brightness. it is very easy to use, maintains focus as you zoom and has very good brightness even at the highest magnification. I have used several times around lakeshore and in marsh areas viewing waterfowl and shorebirds and it is great to be able to see so much detail at distances that make identification impossible with 8x binoculars. I highly recommend this combination.

Kowa 25x60 wide angle eyepiece

I purchased the kowa 25-60x wide angle eyepiece along with the kowa tsn spotting scope. Excellent optics and crystal clear. Very expensive, but hurts only one time. This is my 3rd purchase from optics planet and and have received excellent service.

Incredible performance! Full field of view at any zoom/magnification. No fringing or aberrations!

This eyepiece is second to none I've seen in 30 years. There are no chromatic aberrations or chromatic fringing around the margins at any magnification level, and the optics are incredibly sharp. This is the largest diameter eyepiece I've ever had the privilege of using on a spotting scope, and the difference is noticeable. Long eye relief is quite easily achievable because of this. Not cheap, but well worth it!!

Kowa 25-60 Wide Angle Zoom Eyepiece For Kowa 880

A bit pricey and somewhat disappointed that you are forced to buy an eyepiece separate from the scope. The eyepiece and KOWA 880 scope are very high quality. A decision to buy this product requires a lot of research and ultimately, a determination of the 'Return On Investment". I have made my choice, so far not regretting it.
