Premium Kowa Bino's.

by birdwatcher, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on May 21, 2022
Very nice set of bino's. Crystall Clear. Got a good deal from the original Retail Price. Only complaint the Eye cups are a bit lose. Top notch bino's. Japanese glass some of the best there is. Would highly recommend. Don't no anything about Kowas lower end bino's. I've come to the conclusion , that when it comes to bino's, By the best you can afford.

Kowa prominar, two thumbs way up

by SwoleAkshun, from WA, United States Written on January 5, 2018
Upon taking these out the box i put them to work. The amount of detail i pick up with these at post sunset conditions compared to my “HD” spotting scope was distinct. I just didnt expect to see that level of detail from these. Looking at trees/birds at almost 500 yards away. I took a risk i feel buying these as there were no youtube reviews and only a few online reviews to go off of. There are a few reviews in the bird watching forums, but not much. I also know that the kowa 880 spotting scope is top tier and ive had a chance to look thru that thing, and its great. I can watch bullet trace from 6 n 6.5 bullets all day. So i knew there top of the line bino’s should be great too. I read other reviews on the 8x33 genesis, n the viper binos shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as these. Ive looked thru razor binos too, and i wasnt too swayed to spend the 1k on um and held out for something better. I guess after looking thru swarovski’s , but not wanting to cough up 2.5k for um, i held out for a pair of binos in the 1k range that can give out the most performance. I wish i had the zeiss conquest to compare them too but i dont. I was honestly holding out for a pair of on sale leicas but theIr limited warranty was a no for me. Regardless im still very happy with these so far. I need to go glass with them out farther n see how it looks in all lighting conditions. dThese things are well built, and have a quality feel to them. The focusing wheel is nice...
