Finally Integrated System
Finally bought the Laserlyte system when they integrated the laser within the pistol instead of the original push-into-the-barrel system. Trigger is DA only. Trigger break seems to just give, not very smooth. And the trigger reset upon traveling forward is pretty sharp. Doesn't really imitate th...

Nice to do controlled pairs while dry firing… sort of.
Fits nicely into a G26 holster, so training for firing from the draw is possible. Zeroing the thing is a pain. Mine came with a manual for one of the reactive targets, not the pistol. Happily there’s not much to this device, so I was able to figure it out. My main disappointment was the trigger....

Power Problem
The tool did exactly what I expected it to. Give me the feel and motion of a real Glock 19. Even the trigger pull was as real as possible. Within a few min. I was able to hit targets at 8 to 10 yards dead center without eyesight aiming. The batteries just don't last long. The three little batteries last about 60 trigger pulls, my only complaint.

Useless training tool
Had high hopes to be able to train at home. When the targets finally arrived I unpacked the LT-TTL laser gun and installed the batteries. The laser beam immediately turned on and Stayed on. Had to remove the batteries to turn it off, reinstalled and same results. Totally useless.
Pros:
- ?
Cons:
- Does not work
Best Used for:
- Paperweight

Quality products plus outstanding service
The laser pistol works well and certainly helps keep your shooting skills from getting stale. On the other side of the coin I have bought from Optics Planet for years and their service is always 100% plus their prices are competitive and often the lowest. That’s a winning combination.
Pros:
- it works
Cons:
- None

Needs some work
As noted in another review, the POI changes. This is because there is no spring to push the laser capsule against the adjustment screws. As a result vibration causes them to back out. The solution is a short (~5/16") piece of feeler gauge (e.g. 0.003") placed so it presses the capsule against the screws. I had them back out repeatedly in a very short time. Once I added the shim it's been dead on.
Another issue is the pulse is too long (~60 ms) which results in a streak. I removed the existing capacitor and substituted an 8.2 nF cap which cut the pulse to <6 ms. Now I get a nice round dot instead of a streak. Before I couldn't tell if the shot was on target or moved on target at the end of the flash.
The trigger pull is rather stiff, so I stretched the spring to about twice the original length. I'll probably rework the trigger to make the break a bit better, but it's tolerable. It's a simple striker arrangement made of molded plastic. Making the sear metal to metal should not be difficult.
I'm ordering a couple for friends which I will send after I've made the modifications. So I *really* do like them even if they are Glock replicas (not a Glock fan). I liked it enough to buy a 19X with tritium sights. My LaserLyte has a 3 dot (not tritium) that matches the 19X sights. Until I find or make a trainer which matches a High Power, I've got the Glock 19X to match the trainer.
BTW weight is wrong, but you can fix that with some lead shot. I've not found my bag of sh...

Great trigger control practice
I have only had it a short time but practice about 50 rounds worth a day which at this point has saved me probably $500+. It definitely helps with trigger control and target transitions and you can do it in your house. It is super close in ergonomics to my glock so it won't mess up my muscle memory. I downloaded a shot timer and do draw and one shot. Since no recoil I wanted something more realistic.
Pros:
- Ergonomics
- easy to sight in
- No live ammo
- Fits most glock 19 holsters
Cons:
- No recoil
Best Used for:
- Dry fire practice
- Train indoors
Would recommend: Yes
No Christmas Cheer for this one
After one trigger pull, it broke. The trigger moves, but no click, no laser. For $17, I wouldn't be surprised, but for $117? Now, I have to run the gambit of returning it, driving into town, ect. I'm getting it replaced, because I really like the concept, but now I'm weary. Irritated.
Best Used for:
- Trigger control

Love it! Except for one thing....
I love this! I think it’s a great training tool. It’s about the same size as my Ruger SR9 and the sights are similar. The only negative is that I have to frequently adjust the windage. For some reason the point of impact tends to float down over time (like a couple of days of use) and I have to adjust up. Otherwise, this would be a solid 5 stars.
Pros:
- Trigger control and sight training
Cons:
- Frequent need to adjust
Best Used for:
- At home training

Good product Excellent customer service
I ordered this to train with after about 3 months of at least 200 trigger pulls a day it broke. I contacted Laserlyte and within a few minutes was setup to return the gun for repairs. When I mailed it to the company I tracked the package it took less than a week to repair the gun and ship it back. Laserlyte stood behind their product and repaired it with no mention that I over used it. It has helped me with my trigger pull and accuracy.

Laserlyte Trigger Tyme Full Size Laser Trainer
The item is a great training device. It trains a person to do a correct trigger press without the recoil of the gun. It also assists a person to stop anticipating the recoil of the gun and saves money on buying ammo and snap caps to cure the anticipation.
