Fits on mini14. Adds weight to barrel which should help with accuracy. Would have been satisfied with single rail but was not available with laser holder. Came with different length screws to accommodate different size barrels and accessories.

I have an older "pencil barrel" mini-14. These guns tend to have an accuracy problem after the barrel heats up. I purchased these mounts to build a barrel strut to cure this problem. They work great for this, plus I have a place for rail mounted accessories, such as a bipod or tactical light.

I was looking for something to mount a tac light and or laser on my sub 2000 without interfering with it's folding capability. This item has a low profile on the top and the rails on the bottom and sides line up perfectly with the fore grip. Mounting up was pretty simple once I got all the included assorted screws organized by length. This mount is all aluminum with steel screws and I was worried about overtorquing to keep it from slipping from recoil. I would recommend using loctite when installing. After bouncing around in a truck and UTV and with several hundred rounds downrange it's still holding solid.

My only complaint is that it is very small (wasn't sure how much barrel space I had so I got the smaller one) and if I had it to do over I wouldve gotten the five slot rail instead. The 3 slot rail takes up about an inch of barrel.

Overall this is an excellent product and fits my needs perfectly

I use this to mount a bipod on my AK-47 plus you have 2 extra rails to mount other stuff on. If you need a little more room Leapers also makes a 5 slot mount.
Pros: This accomodates most anything that mounts on a rail.
Cons: None

Fits my AK-47 perfectly..
Pros: Extra parts to fit about anything....
