The Bad. The optic is advertised as picatinney and weaver rail ready but the spacing of connection wasn't right on my ruger charger stock rail. The adjustments for windage stopped moving the point of impact while zeroing. I had to back the adjustment all the way out and then redo them. The poi finally moved to fully zero after that. The Good - I found the red and green dots to both be bright enough, I preferred the green and other shooters liked the red. After it was finally zeroed it did hold and was accurate enough for plinking.

Bought this for a semi auto magazine fed shotgun. Works well. Has taken quite the beating and is holding up well. Great quality for the money.

I got this to use on my AR 22LR rifle. I won't use it. It doesn't hold zero even with a 22. And the dial to adjust the brightness and turn it on and off is so stiff I can barely move it. And I have strong hands. I would not buy this one again. I did get a BSA three-color dot sight cheap and it works great. I read the other reviews and no one else mentions this problem. SO I guess I got a lemon.
Cons:
- DOES NOT HOLD ZERO
- Hard to turn dial.

Will not hold zero. I see my own refection. Also there is a shadow that interferes with red/green dot. Also both colors wash out in daylight.
I zero and the sit the rifle down, butt first...gently and it still knocks the zero waaayyyy off. Piece of junk. Should sell as "paperweight" Only. OpticaPlanet needs to quit selling worthless junk to it's customers.

Buying my first site here was easy and quick. The prices were not only better on this site, but the specs on the products seemed more understandable to me as an amateur in the gun sport. The sight arrived quickly and was easy to self install on my mounting point. I may switch it between my Charger and KSG to see which gun performs better with this sight

At $40 for a red dot optic, this is really great. The dot is bright and clear and the construction feels quality. I had to purchase a riser for it after the fact to elevate it over the front iron sight, but that's not unusual. Works great and would recommend.

I was a bit skeptical at first when I purchased this optic. But after it arrived and I was able to work with it and mount it on my AR, it is a fantastic little optic for the price. Does the job just as described. It isn't the best optic in the world of course, if you want the best of the best you'll pay several hundred dollars at least. But for only about $40, this optic is a real bargain. Would recommend! The only thing is that on my AR (S&W M&p Sport 2), the front sight is in the way, so I had to purchase a riser for this to sit on, but not a big deal. Helps with cheek weld anyhow.

Doesn't zero at all. Went to the range and no matter what I do the dot doesn't move. Looks nice but as far as functionality it's pretty useless. The flip up cover makes it even more annoying when trying to zero

Several years ago I purchased the original version of this sight. At one time it was rated the best inexpensive red/green dot sight. I regret now not having purchased more of them at the time.
Recently I purchased and returned three of these sights for one simple reason, the red/green dot is not bright enough to use in direct sunlight. This was disappointing because the older version is much brighter and has proven very reliable over the past several years. I was sure hoping to get another sight like the one I already have but it appears that is no longer possible. Leapers if you are reading this bring back the version of this sight which was made about 10 years ago.
Cons:
- not bright enough to use in sunlight
