Most Helpful Positive Review Good riser for SIG 522
Excellent mount for the money...fit and finish is above it's cost. I needed to raise a scope on my SIG 522 about 1/2" to use a set of Leopould QD rings I have and this fit the bill for my needs without purchasing taller rings. The tightening knobs are rather large and had to be placed opposite the ring levers on the QD rings so as not to interfere but for my application not an issue...however this could be a problem with certain optics. The next taller riser should eliminate this problem. This riser would work well on S&W MP22s with polymer uppers to avoid maring the plastic rail when changing...

whats the use

Hand knobs to attach rail are so big that nothing fits on the rail. Only maybe a short red dot. Do not buy this thinking you will gain access to 10” of rail space. More like 4” in between set screws....

UTG 0.5" Low Profile Riser

This is a good product. It worked well for me. I needed it to mount a reflex sight on top of a scope (the scope has built in rails) on my S&W M&P 15-22 rifle so it had to be low in profile but high enough to clear the elevation turret so as not to sit too high on the rifle. Light weight. Sturdy. Good unit.

Good Value

I gave this 5 stars not because it is a "best in class" but because it is a "best buy". I have 3 of these and use them to mount red dot on rifles. They are the right height for my build on an AR's Picatinny. While they are not "QD" they aren't ard to remove, and the holes allow the use of a 5.56 FMJ as a tool. Still, I put them on and leave them on and for that they are very good value for money.

This is an excellent product at an excellent price. I have a fairly large head and even with the tallest scope mounts, the scope was not high enough. I ordered these and installed them and would recommend them to anyone. Great product!

I was looking to raise my scope a little so I ordered this. It's solid and put my scope where I wanted it. I'm going to try the lightweight UTG riser and keep this one for a spare. The weight is my only complaint

Red dot/Scope

This is pretty cool I get to switch out from a red dot to my scope with no trouble and is quick to change.looking forward to buying more items from the site.I would recommend it for faster change out.just wish the bolt nuts were abit smaller..other than that it's perfect and works good.

Made sturdy

The tightening knobs are too large and my red dot sight it hits them.this rail riser would be fine for skinny scope mounts or narrow red dots. Optics Planet wants me to have a longer description for a rail..... well it has slots and is made out of aluminum.... it's black.... uhhhh

Leapers UTG 0.5" Low Profile Riser

This is a solidly built product, very easy to attach as well as remove and did what I was after. I had purchased some 1" rings, they were not high enough to allow the scope to fit over the front sight, working with Technical support at OpticsPlanet, this was recommended, it is solid, very well priced and works.

If you need a riser, this will do the job for you.
